First Time in Love

When I got married, it was not by choice but by necessity. I was not in love with the person and the person turned out to be terribly abusive in all ways imaginable. After thirteen years and three children, I left and began a whole new life, albeit a lonely one. For the past two years I have become a strong, independent woman. About a month ago, I met a man who has changed my life. He is so strong and caring and is the total opposite of what I am used to. This week, while my children were away on spring break, he and I spent time together and for the first time in my life, I was able to tell someone I was in love with them. It was a huge leap of faith for me but I must have caught that spring fever.
