Re: Waking Up Joy (11:31am December 6, 2014):

My mom only read her Sunday school lesson and the newspaper. No books to sneak from her and my friends read like one book a year. No romance. I always loved books and read mostly the classics until I was about 40. I won a romance novel and have been addicted since. I also like books with cats and recipes. I still enjoy the classics but I get a kick and have more fun with romance and cozy mysteries.

Re: Detour to Dusk (11:22pm April 28, 2013):

Twilight novels were good but the Anne Rice series was great. I would love to read your take on the vampire. Sounds good and very interesting.

Re: The Heir (12:59pm December 16, 2010):

Another regular person becomes a duchess. I love these types of stories.

Re: Desire Me (1:04pm June 8, 2010):

I loved Desire Me. Seduce Me sounds even better. Loosing lust from Pandora's box is original and should be fun. I'm out to BN tomorrow to buy it.

Re: Night Myst (4:28am June 5, 2010):

I just picked up Bone Magic. Wow what a fun book. I am writing for fun and have 2 completely different types of books that I'm working on. One an erotic romance the other romantic suspense. It's a challenge but fun. I have no pressure though, I'm only doing this to see if I can.

Re: Dead in the Family (12:10pm May 31, 2010):

I am going to read Haunting Beauty and Haunting Warrior by Erin Quinn, Janet Evanovich's number 16 and Lori Handeland's Nightcreature series.

Re: Blown Away (12:02pm May 31, 2010):

I love series. I have been reading Sue Graftons since they first came out. It sometimes feels frustrating but when I finally get to read the new addition, it's wonderful. I also like when I read the last one on get to go back in fill in the missing links.

Re: Silent Truth (12:45pm May 18, 2010):

Leaving my family would be the hardest thing for me to do. I would only leave them if their lives were on the line. I would not do it for my own, because life would be nothing without loved ones.

Re: Web Of Lies (12:41pm May 18, 2010):

I like all romance but romantic suspence is my favorite. When and how will the hero and heroine finally get together, who dunnit, etc. I enjoyed Karma Girl.

Re: On Folly Beach (12:38pm May 18, 2010):

I'm happy your basement treasures were not ruined in the flood.
I had 2 aunts who had a bottle tree. When I was young I would alway touch the bottles. One of the aunts was a bottle collector, so they were able to change out the bottles according to the holiday.

Re: My Own Personal Soap Opera (2:25pm April 7, 2010):

Jeepers, you're a Univ of Gussberry scholar. Deep. I'm experimenting with writing. I'm using the same story in comedic, erotic and mainstream romance to see what I think I do best. I appreciate your post and have bookmarked it, so I have it at hand to refer to. Thanks.

Re: The Darcy Cousins (10:00am April 5, 2010):

Darcy, Thanks for the advice about characterization. I have always been a reader and enjoy reading just about anything. I have just recently developed a desire to write. I write something everyday with the goal of writing becomming a habit just like reading. I intend to begin plotting an writing a book in about 3 more weeks. Again thanks for the advice and inspriation.

Re: Just Fooling Around (5:42am April 4, 2010):

This looks like a fun series. I have not pulled an April Fools joke since, like Alyson Widen already posted I put salt in the sugar bowl and sugar in the salt shaker. I got in so much trouble, I quit all pracical joking after that.

Re: Island Of The Swans (6:16pm February 8, 2010):

I started writing the 1000 words per day just after Thanksgiving because I want to be a writer. As much as I read I never thought about theme. That is where I will start my next weeks writing on specific themes. Thanks for the idea.

Re: Romeo, Romeo (11:35am December 28, 2009):

I agree there's nothing sexier than when a man cleans the tub for you and then climbs in with you.

Re: A Marquis To Marry (1:22am October 15, 2009):

I've just recently begun reading romance novels. I usually read mysteries and suspense. My first romance was one I bought at a yard sale, "A Taste of Seduction"! I read this blog because I wanted to hear what you had to say. Thanks or the introduction into a new genre. This looks like a series I will enjoy. I look forward to reading it.

Re: Soulless (8:25pm October 13, 2009):

Steampunk makes me think of tatooed teen riding around in a Stanley Steamer. This was the first time I ever heard the word but my thoughts were fairly close.
