My Valentine Memory

Over the years I have had many Valentine Days. I have been given the usual gifts of jewelry, flowers, cards and chocolates. My favorite memory of all was about ten years ago when my husband built me a huge rose bed for Valentine's Day. It has 9 beautiful rose bushes. the landscaping timbers were built to form perfect octogon shape. My husband knew that the rose is my favorite flower and I always hated the way the cut flowers he bought me died. Now I have roses to enjoy most of the year not just at Valentines. This thoughtful gift of his time has always been my favorite.
