Spring Fling
Spring Break...Catch the Fever

Woman Takes A n Unexpected Spring Fling!

Ah, spring with the sunny skies, April showers, & the dreaded lists of things to accomplish before summer heats up & slows us down. It was Palm Sunday evening & everyone in our family was busy with a chore. I rushed out to our back patio, stepped on a piece of decorative volcanic rock & catapulted face forward toward the brick covered ground. Ouch didn't quite cover the end result! A trip to the local ER confirmed a shattered wrist. The day after Easter I met with the hand/wrist surgeon for a plate & 11 screws. As you can see, I've been somewhat curtailed in my spring plans. My husband & family have been the sweetest of caretakers, despite their individual activities. An old Danish saying comes to my mind..

"Man plans & God laughs!" Oh yes, my husband has been fussing at me to carry my cell phone with me even at home. And yes, I called him to say Help! I 've fallen & I can't get up! Now I share that little hint with everyone! And again...

Man plans & God laughs!!!
