After a long and exhausting day at work last week I had an energizing moment
while walking up the sidewalk. I was trudging along when I saw a purple crocus
just opening. Then I caught a flash of movement which was a robin sitting in
one of the pine trees that had the setting sun glistening through the
branches. It was a wonderful sense of the life stirring after a long harsh
wintertime.
