Re: To Love A Wolf (12:09pm June 14, 2016):

I rarely watch movies. I am looking forward to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them. That will probably be the next movie even though it isn't until fall

Re: How Beauty Met the Beast (1:07am December 22, 2013):

Congrats on the release! From reading your blog it sounds as if you've been on a roller coaster. Best of luck.

Re: A Lady's Secret Weapon (3:00pm October 20, 2013):

I love variety in my regencies. But it's best when there are elements of both. Not overpowering comedy but some LOL moments. I haven't had the pleasure of reading one of your books before. Even though they are a trilogy, could they be read as stand alones or out of order?

Re: The Secret Life of Lady Julia (6:17pm May 27, 2013):

I have sky dived. When they say it's better than sex... they lie. As for my secret- when I do the fan fiction thing in my mind, I'm frequently the hero, not the heroine.

Re: Renegade (5:32pm December 24, 2012):

We don't have any Christmas books. For movies, the Home Alone series. One *story* that I miss the most is our annual Christmas play at church. There was a woman that wrote a unique play each year. Sort of a mix of traditional with a unique twist, like two children in PJs narrarating as they waited for Santa. The angels were positioned in the audience and the audience songs incorporated into the diologue. She did an amazing amount of work.

Re: Chosen By Sin (9:54pm January 31, 2012):

I love paranormal books - especially with shifters and vamps! I'll have to look for your first two books since this sounds like a wonderful series.

Re: Dreamers (12:49pm January 15, 2012):

Sounds like a really origional book! I don't know how I'd react if I found out everything I believed about myself was false. On the other hand would it really be false? I mean, I know for me there have been pivotal things in my life that redifined who I was (ie going into military, having children). So it isn't really the genetics that made me who I am but the decisions I've made. And going after her mother has to change her. Meeting Malachi again would redefine her life.

Re: Lure of Song and Magic (11:55pm January 14, 2012):

Yes, I do believe in psychic abilities. I've had multiple examples in my
family. For example, my sister dreamed that red was green and green wa
red for several nights in a row. After several days, she came to a stoplight
and was confused about going on green. The guy behind her honked and
she was just starting out when a semi zoomed around a blind corner and
ran the red. She was shook up and pulled over. The guy that had honked
pulled over to thank her. How do you explain it was really dreams that
saved you?

Re: Sins Of The Highlander (11:27pm January 14, 2012):

My must have trait in a hero is honor.

Re: The Last Slayer (4:07pm December 28, 2011):

When you interviewed your characters did any of them tell you they wanted their own story? I
m thinking specifically of Jack. Or will his secrets be revealed? I hate not knowing a secret!

Re: Romancing The Countess (11:23pm October 29, 2011):

While my own reading hasn't inspired me to do something specific, I guess my husband's has. Our daughter is named after a character in the Dragonlance series but with a spelling switch. It's kind of neat that she is now reading the series.

One of my best friends is going through a rough pregnancy right now. Near complete bedrest. I just mailed her off a second huge box of books. My sister is also pregnant but without the medical issues. She can fall asleep at the drop of a hat though.

Re: Hidden Embers (9:55pm April 22, 2011):

I love fall. Weather wise it isn't to hot or cold. The kids are back in school (only one now!) and I start thinking about family things like how time is passing and the upcoming holidays. At the same time it's stress free. Sort of the calm before the storm of the holidays.

I already have Dark Embers but wanted to tell you how beautiful your covers are. I like to read two or more books in a series back to back so I've held off on Dark Embers until I get Hidden Embers.

Re: Demons Are A Girl's Best Friend (11:21pm April 12, 2011):

The best thing about witch books is that anything is possible. There are no common *rules* that pop culture or myth have already established. That means there are so many possibilites!

Re: Collision Course (9:34pm April 8, 2011):

I thought Cpt Apollo was the cute one! I started out on Flash Gordon reruns and the beginning of Star Trek. I can remember being very young and watching the moon landing on tv. I didn't understand what the big deal was since we'd already been so many places!

Re: The Shadow Guard (9:10pm April 5, 2011):

I don't really have a crystal clear vision of the hero in my mind as I read. More of a hazy around the edges picture so I really don't want to meet anyone. I would hate to be disappointed. I had a fairly clear picture of Sirius Black from Harry Potter in my mind. Someone way more clean cut then the movies. I've never gotten over that dissappointment!

Re: Rock Hard (10:47pm April 4, 2011):

Sounds like a great read! Since you love rock and Sed is in a band, did you listen to music as your wrote for inspiration?

Re: A Little Light Magic (12:48pm May 27, 2009):

I'm the oldest of 3. I do think that birth order has alot to do with it. Not only your own but also your parents. My parents felt their older siblings had it easy and kept bringing that up as an excuse for not letting me do something. For example their oldest siblings each played and intrument but dropped it. So their parents didn't allow them to. In turn I had to prove myself by playing the instrument they chose but my younger siblings didn't.

The book sounds like so much fun!

Re: Kisses Like A Devil (12:27pm February 28, 2009):

I'd love to re-visit some of the really old places I've been but with my children this time. Places that man made but before technology. I was amazed at how you can feel the past in the air. In Rothenburg, I can remember looking over my shoulder and feeling as if someone was there while walking the wall. The catacombs in Luxembourgh were amazing. The steps were so tiny. Some of the castle ruins left you wondering just what it looked like? How was it destroyed?

My dreams don't take place in real places. I prefer entirely made up worlds or made up locations. Reality has a harder time intruding.

Re: Between A Rock And A Heart Place (11:41pm February 25, 2009):

I'd go with a feline also but probably a jaguar or panther. So much sleek power!

Re: The Secret Life of Bees (7:26pm February 8, 2009):

I keep my movies and books seperate. The only time I've broken that rule has been the Harry Potter books. I've both read the book first and watched the movie first for different Harry Potter books. Didn't make a difference.

I don't like to read the kinds of storylines I like in movies. And I don't like to watch the kinds of books I read. Makes it easy.
