Re: Holiday Sparks (9:23am November 24, 2010):

I am thankful for HEAs in romance stories, Alpha males who are tender-
hearted, and heroines who are feminine but stick up for themselves....

My fave pie is pumpkin or pecan. Delish!

Congratulations on your release!

Re: The Making of a Gentleman (4:11pm October 20, 2010):

I like reading about something
familiar, but also like to learn
something new. I admire how authors
can take me to a time and place so far
removed from my own (and theirs) and
make me live in that story.

Re: To Conquer a Highlander (9:22am July 12, 2010):

I love to read and have almost run out of room for my fave books. I do collect angel figurines and teapots. I have tried my hand quilting, but it is not my thing. I learned for my mom who makes wondrously, beautiful quilts.

Re: Seducing the Knight (3:03pm June 11, 2010):

This book sounds really good! I like to read about Scotland and knights. You are a new-to-me author and look forward to getting this book.

Re: Desire Me (8:39pm June 8, 2010):

I've got Desire Me in my TBR pile. Seduce Me sounds like a great book. I had a birthday scavenger hunt once where I had little presents in each spot as well as clues to the next spot to locate. My mom was always doing something fun like that.

Re: His Border Bride (4:43pm May 3, 2010):

I also think my fave hero is the one I'm
reading about at the time. It's a toss-
up between wounded or bad boy
heroes. I am not much for the bitter
wounded hero and I like to think that
the bad boy rogue redeems himself by
the end of the story for a HEA with his
heroine!

Re: Rule's Bride (6:24pm April 23, 2010):

I am looking forward to this book. I loved Royal's Bride.

Re: The Highest Stakes (6:43pm April 1, 2010):

This book sounds so good. I would love to read it!

Re: The Highlander's Sword (4:29pm March 17, 2010):

I like a hero that loves and admires his
lady love and she returns that love and
admiration. Your book sounds great!
Besides, it features a man in a kilt!
Mmmmm. Congratulations on your
debut!

Re: The You I Never Knew (9:51am March 14, 2010):

I definitely would rather laugh than cry when reading a book. Some authors are so good at providing funny moments.

I am a big baby, though, when it comes to movies and even commercials. My daughter and husband just look at me and say, "Mom's crying again!"

Re: Lake Magic (4:46pm March 2, 2010):

Congratulations, Kimberly, on your debut novel and on your first blogging experience! I love to read and my very first romance novel was a Harlequin titled THE GENTLE FLAME by Katrina Britt. What amazes me is that I remember it over 32 years later!

Re: My Dearest Mr. Darcy (9:44am January 8, 2010):

@Mary Mclain, That's a wonderful scene for all of us to remember. You are so right! :)

Re: My Dearest Mr. Darcy (10:06am January 7, 2010):

I love the line where Lizzie tells Darcy that he's about to become a father---so calm and matter-of-fact!
I think "Father of the Bride 2" has a fun and funny scene where Steve Martin's character is going back and forth between his wife's and his daughter's room.

Re: One Lucky Cowboy (12:38pm November 5, 2009):

The interview was great, Carolyn. What a
good sense of humor you (and "Jane")
have! Can't wait read OLC!

Re: Seeing Red (8:26am July 27, 2009):

I grew up in a small town and I now live in another small town. There are many wonderful things about small-town life, but one of the NEATEST ever was begun 2 summers ago when a group was formed to create a new park by our library. Several of us formed a committee and opened it to anyone who wanted to join. What is so amazing is that we raised well over $75,000 in less than a year from the citizens in town as well as the small businesses. Others gave by doing jobs or donating materials at cost. Truly wonderful and amazing---my little town and our new park!
