Cocoa Mix Recipe

This cocoa mix recipe is a family favorite. When the kids were small we'd mix up a big batch and scoop it into decorated jars as teacher gifts. Now we mix up a batch as soon as the temperatures drop and it's ready to go on chilly nights.

Favorite Homemade Cocoa Mix:

2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup Dutch processed cocoa
2 1/2 cups powdered milk
a scant teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 pinch of cayenne pepper
optional: 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Directions:

Mix all ingredients in a large, airtight container.

Add 2 heaping tablespoons of prepared mix to a mug of hot milk or water and enjoy!
