Lemon Apricot Nectar Cake

1 Box Lemon Supreme Cake 4 eggs 3cups wesson oil 1 cup apricot nectar (I substitute with apricot preserves 1/cup sugar Into mixer bowl mix the eggs, sugar and oil. Then add the cake mix and nectar alternately. Pour into tube pan which has been greased and floured. Cook 1hour at 325 degrees. Let set 10 min after removing from oven and while still warm dribble an icing over it which is made by mixing 1 cup powdered sugar, 2tbsp. butter and juice from 1 lemon, or 3 tbsp. Put the icing on the stove let it simmer but do not boil. My kids and I love to slice this cake and then add fresh strawberries and whipped cream for a twist on the usual Strawberry shortcake.
