Re: A Fitting End (12:47pm February 12, 2012):

I raise foster kittens for the local shelter, so cats and books are the perfect "hook" for me!!

Re: One Touch of Scandal (3:38pm September 26, 2010):

Reading is my reward as well and spending time with the foster kittens I raise for the local humane society.

Re: Royal Blood (6:31pm September 4, 2010):

I'm a big historical mystery fan and love both of your series. Can't wait to read one set in a castle in Transylvania!

Re: Chick with a Charm (3:06pm February 20, 2010):

There's plenty of both cats and dogs in my house - I raise foster kittens until they are old enough to adopt for the local humane society and my two dogs and permanent cats "help me out" by making sure the kittens know about both dogs and other cats.

I smiled at 10,000 hours of practice, but I sure do enjoy your cats and dogs mysteries. Keep up the good work.

Re: Down By The River (11:12am January 31, 2010):

Like most folks, my TBR pile seems to grow faster than I can read. I like the idea of participating in the online challenges to encourage us to broaden our reading. I read Alice Duncan's Strong Spirits this month - a new author for me that I really enjoyed.

Re: Succubi Like It Hot (8:09pm January 20, 2010):

ah yes - memories of pitching the tent in a "nice little hollow", only to wake up in the middle of a thunderstorm with the tent "afloat" in the rain..

Re: A Bolt From The Blue (10:00pm January 19, 2010):

I'd forgotten all about the bottle cutters!! What a fun analogy to plot ideas!! I recently finished your first Leonardo mystery and really enjoyed it. Keep those plots coming.

Re: Getting Lucky (5:33pm January 18, 2010):

I read a lot and read both stand alones and series books - If I like the first book in a series, I nearly always read the rest of the series since I love meeting familiar characters and places again.

I run hot and cold - love my mp3 player, have multiple computers, but don't have a personal cell phone or a kindle.

Re: The Keepers Of Sulbreth (10:02pm January 15, 2010):

I've been known to pick up a book with a catchy title - once in a while I'm disappointed, but generally I'm pleased with the results.

Re: Sleep No More (8:24pm January 12, 2010):

I actually used to sleepwalk when I was a child and woke up some distance from my sleeping bag on a girl scout camping trip. Thankfully I outgrew it and I sure don't recommend it.

Re: Come Hell Or High Water (2:44pm January 10, 2010):

For me a perfect day is one when I have time to kick back and relax with a book, pets or friends rather than feeling pressured to do something.

Re: Over My Dead Body (8:10pm January 6, 2010):

I was lucky enough to grow up as part of an extended family that all lived close together and could get together for holiday meals. Now family is spread across the country and we can't do that anymore.

Re: Safe By His Side (7:13pm January 4, 2010):

I agree with those who hate housework - if the darned house would just STAY clean, I would love it instead.
