Re: A Fierce Radiance (6:45pm July 5, 2010):

Great interview...Both of your books sound like they are my kind of reads. I will certainly be looking for them. I am glad that today's authors do so much research when they are writing their books.

Re: Drive Time (1:30am February 1, 2010):

Interesting excerpt....I suppose everyone has secrets, but they are not always life changing or hurtful.
This, like your other books, sounds like a good read for a mystery lover like me. Thank you for the opportunity to win your book. (hopefully all of them!)

Re: Sleep No More (12:19pm January 12, 2010):

Interesting concept....I like the title and the cover of your book. I have never met anyone who walked in their sleep, but it sounds like it could be a very real problem.

Re: Not My Daughter (12:00pm January 12, 2010):

When I see your name on a book then I know that it is one that I want. Thank you for an interesting article that explains why your books are a welcome read for me.
Hasn't the internet made the world considerably smaller and more easily explored by more people....even those who would otherwise never be able to learn about things by going and seeing them for themselves. I am glad to be living with today's technology. Tomorrow's will be even more amazing.

Re: Come Hell Or High Water (11:42pm January 11, 2010):

I am a homebody...a perfect day for me would have a good book to read, the telephone does not ring, and I have a box of chocolates nearby to munch on while I devour the author's story.

Re: Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy (11:15pm January 11, 2010):

Thank you for letting your readers into your day. Wishing you all the best in the months ahead. May 2010 be a good year for all of us.

Re: The Keepers Of Sulbreth (11:02pm January 11, 2010):

All of the above.....on the other hand I have also fallen in love with a story and remember the characters and not the names...especially if they are not your everyday type of name or have unusual spelling.

Re: Santa Honey (11:52pm October 26, 2009):

I, too, love books that I can hold. My bookshelves are overflowing and I like to read some of them more then once, and it is really hard for me to part with a book.....

Re: The Cowboy From Christmas Past (11:28pm October 26, 2009):

We lived in the country and grew our own vegetables and fruit. One of my earliest memories is sitting on the back porch steps shelling peas from the garden. My mother canned everything she could to feed us until the next garden was producing so we never went hungry, but it was a lot of work for all of us.

Re: Red Hot Lies (1:00am August 30, 2009):

I like both types of books as long as it is a good, well written story. If a book draws me into the story it can be written from any point of view. Favorite first-person...Right now the only book I can think of is The Accidental Demon Slayer by Angie Fox. It is a fun paranormal read from a debut author.

Re: Dragons Prefer Blondes (12:48pm August 30, 2009):

I have seen a few interviews and liked them, but I read many more interviews than I have watched. I like knowing more about an author and how a particular character or story came to be written.

Re: Bending The Rules (3:23pm July 20, 2009):

It must be in the genes *g*. My daughters and I cry over sad movies and books. There are books that I could not read sitting in a doctor's waiting room because tears would be running down my face.

Re: Swimsuit (4:00pm July 17, 2009):

What an inspirational story...and it is so great that you found what makes you happy in your work. I don't think many people ever do that. Congratulations!

Re: Bluegrass Blessings (3:51pm July 17, 2009):

Both, but the keepers are the books that I can read again and still feel the emotional content of the story.

Re: By Hook Or By Crook (11:21pm July 14, 2009):

I really like the covers of your books, and I like craft mysteries. I also grew up with Nancy Drew and moved on to Agatha Christie. Miss Marple was my favorite sleuth.
I hope I will be reading your books for many years to come.

Re: The Guernsey Literary And Potato Peel Pie Society (1:44pm July 6, 2009):

I seldom read a book that I don't enjoy, but sometimes leave them until I am more in the mood for a particular type of book. I haven't read the Twilight series, but my daughters have enjoyed it. I think I have just read too many vampire novels to add any more.
The Painted House by John Grisham was not a good read for me although it got good reviews.
What I really enjoy is a book that more than lives up to my expectations. They are a wonderful find.

Re: The Cowboy From Christmas Past (11:48am July 6, 2009):

Sounds like your college days were a fun time. Such good memories.....

Re: Wild Heart (1:34am June 29, 2009):

The cover is an eyecatcher....
Congratulations!
I'm sure it will be a thrill to finally get your book in your hands.

Re: The Texas Twins (11:17pm June 28, 2009):

I grew up doing jigsaw puzzles with my mother and sister. I still like them now and then. And I love to read. My books are starting to stack up all over the spare bedroom and my bookcases are full....need more bookcases!!!

Re: The Texas Twins (2:10am May 30, 2009):

I have always liked most of the John Wayne movies, and I can imagine him talking to the men.
My cousin was paralyzed suddenly like the dad in your article. It turned out to be a staph infection in his spine and he had no warning that he was ill. He is still in a wheelchair, but has recovered a lot more use of his body than the doctors expected.

Re: Killer Cuts (1:27am May 30, 2009):

Guardian, Blind Sight....they all sound like good reads. So many good authors....I would love to read them all.

Re: Beneath Bone Lake (12:53pm May 30, 2009):

I have a healthy respect for anything that would look at me like I am part of the food chain, so I have always stayed out of their environment. Otherwise, the only fear I really have is not reasonable.....it is dinosaurs. I have finally gotten to the point that I can watch some movies, but not Jurassic Park. Crazy, or is it a genetic phobia?

Re: Scandal (9:31pm March 8, 2009):

I love a good historical that takes me to other times and places with accuracy and a good story. One of my favorites is Green Darkness by Anya Seton (long out of print)

Re: Safe By His Side (9:24pm March 8, 2009):

I hate shopping, but once I am in a store then I want to see everything, look for bargains and spend time there. Love internet shopping.....find what I want, order and leave, all without leaving my home. Can spend hours on publishers websites *g*

Re: Irreplaceable (8:42pm March 8, 2009):

A member of my family is a transplant recipient and says that the day she recieved her transplant is her second birthday. Her transplant was done over 20 years ago, and is still doing well. I believe everyone in my family has signed their donor cards or checked the donor box on their driver's license. We appreciate that someone else had done so.

Re: Summer On Blossom Street (7:57pm March 8, 2009):

If anything, I think I would like to be able to go forward in time. Maybe 100 to 200 hundred years from now if we haven't totally destroyed our planet. Just as a watcher, mind you, not to live in that era. (wouldn't want to mess up the timeline *g*). And I love books about the United Kingdom regardless of the time frame. Some characters in books seem to remain with me more than others, and some I would like to have known.

Re: Germania (3:29am February 26, 2009):

Interesting blog....

Re: A Perfect Darkness (1:28am February 26, 2009):

I think we all experience something out of the ordinary at some time in our lives, but call those experiences coincidences. But having and being able to control those abilities is something else altogether. Yes, I would call them paranormal, and I love to read those stories that include something out of the ordinary.

Re: Between A Rock And A Heart Place (1:21am February 26, 2009):

Too hard to choose just one...an Eagle for flying....a Dolphin or an Otter for water and a Cheetah for running. Can you just imagine the fun until it was time to eat.*g*
