Re: Muffin But Murder (9:53am June 30, 2014):

I love stories with humor but I like the more subtle and even
sarcasm at times. What I'm not fond of is "forced" humor an
stupidity that's over the top. I think the key is realism and
like you said I want characters that I'd love to spend time
with.

Re: A Brew to a Kill (10:11pm August 6, 2013):

Cozies are the best - and centered around coffee is even
better! Keep up the great work Cleo and thanks for the great
contest. I'm sure the lucky winner will enjoy their new read
with coffee in their cool cup!

Re: Conjure (8:52pm November 2, 2012):

A Boohag would make my blood run cold as it sounds like
there's just no way to fight it. (shudders...)

Sounds like a great read!!

Re: It Begins with a Kiss (1:31pm July 3, 2012):

Researching is such fun and always leads to other rabbit
trails - amazing where you can end up. This series sounds like
a fantastic read and one I must look into! Thank you for the
chance at this fantastic contest.

Re: My Lady Mage (1:28pm July 3, 2012):

What an intriguing idea to have the horse pick its master! I
have put this on my must reads list! Thank you for the chance
to win.

Re: A Scandalous Countess (8:45pm February 17, 2012):

I adore the fashions of the Georgian era - but then only to
look at and never would I consider wearing them! Regency is
more my style. Thanks so much for the chance!

Re: Spin (8:32pm February 17, 2012):

His name is Henry. Thanks so much for this chance!

Re: His Last Duchess (2:43pm October 28, 2011):

Love your post!!! I know what you mean about forcing creativity. I can't do things on a schedule - it becomes work and demanding and the creative part of me rebels. I'm more the do little and think a lot. DH calls me Winnie the Pooh...

Re: Romancing The Countess (2:40pm October 28, 2011):

Oh gosh! I can't imagine writing a romance when you're feeling awful. I would think it would be more of a man-hater novel :) As for what a romance inspired me to do was (this is really no exciting thing) to get married to a romantic but manly kind of man.

Re: Ward Against Death (11:01am August 27, 2011):

Your book sounds like an amazing read! My dream job would be to help others to explore and attain their dreams. I guess that would make my career a dream director of sorts? LOL

Re: Secrets: Desires Unleased (9:03pm August 25, 2011):

We had a cat that didn't get the concept of windows. When a hummingbird would come to visit he'd jump off the back of the couch and right into the glass of our picture window. No matter how many times he'd do that, he wouldn't learn. We even moved the feeder so they wouldn't feed at the window, but I swear they knew they could torment him and would perch in front of the window to "guard" their feeder!

Re: Red's Hot Cowboy (10:25am August 24, 2011):

It's that all masculine, muscle rippling, tanned and quiet male that's packaged in a partially opened shirt and jeans that does it for me. Sigh... (Someone get me a fan!)

As for what I'd do - I think I'd start with wanting to swoon and the rest - ummmm - well a lady can't tell :)

Thanks so much for the chance!

Re: Touch If You Dare (10:39am July 21, 2011):

Excellent post. I need a new hero to drool over. (will someone hand me a fan?) I can't wait to read this!
Thanks!

Re: Overbite (10:37am July 21, 2011):

INSATIABLE

Re: The Keepers Of Sulbreth (7:53pm January 15, 2010):

I have read books where I could never pronounce the name, and have trouble stumbling over them as I try over and over when I hit them. They drive me crazy :) My favorites were Aragorn from LoTR, and Hermione from the Harry Potter series. They were outstanding names for me. I've never bought a book because of an outstanding character name in the title but there are a few that do stand out. I've been drawn in more by artwork than names. However, some titles have drawn me in because of curiosity.

Re: My Dearest Mr. Darcy (12:35pm January 7, 2010):

I love P&P so these are definitely going on my to-read list! As for birthing scenes, nothing comes to mind except for Bill Cosby's "Himself" where he describes his wife's labor. Our whole family loves his description! LOL

Re: Come Hell Or High Water (10:11am January 6, 2010):

Sounds exciting! I've put it on my must reads list for this year.

Hmmm - mistakes that turned out great... When I was working making microfiche and microfilm, I found a huge mistake and went to my quality control supervisor. Guess the mistake wasn't held against me, as we ended up married about a year later :)
