In this third installment of the award-winning Devil Devere series, DeVere is finally center stage when Ned, Annalee, and her cousin, Diana arrive at DeVere's estate for a weekend of horseracing. Although DeVere is outwardly arrogant, ruthless, unpredictable and manipulative, the private man is quite another creature--intensely loyal and fiercely protective of those few he cares about.
