Re: The Guernsey Literary And Potato Peel Pie Society (5:24pm July 12, 2009):

I couldn't get into Beth Kery's DARING TIME. It just couldn't hold my attention but I have read some wonderful reviews for her work.

Re: Loving a Lost Lord (3:34am June 28, 2009):

I try to mix up my reading so I don't get the feeling of reading something familiar. So if I just read a Regency I might read a contemporary next.

Re: Seducing an Angel (3:07am June 23, 2009):

Hello Mary,
That's so true about the need to love ourselves. It's wonderful to see that happen to characters who seemed unable to do that when we first meet them. Thank you for giving us some fantastic stories to enjoy.

Re: Comfort Food (2:28pm April 26, 2009):

One of my favorite series is Ilona Andrews Kate Daniels series. The 3rd book just came out and I hope there will be many more.

Re: The Promise (12:51pm April 19, 2009):

I've been reading ever since I can remember - hiding under the covers with a flashlight after the lights were out for the night. I'm usually reading at least two books, sometimes more. Can't imagine not reading.

Re: The Accidental Human (10:47pm April 12, 2009):

The covers may grab my attention but it's the author or the reader reviews that will get me to buy the book. I don't remember ever buying a book simply based on the cover.

Some of my favorite covers are the ones from Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson series. The art work is gorgeous!

Re: Scandal (12:54pm March 8, 2009):

Funny you should mention A Summer to Remember because I just re-read it and loved it just as much as the first time I read it.

Other favorites are Lisa Kleypas' Worth Any Price and Jo Goodman's Only in My Arms.

Re: Ravenous (12:00pm February 20, 2009):

I read some really great reviews of RAVENOUS - can't wait to read it.

Re: Thread of Fear (3:41pm January 21, 2009):

My favorite childhood reads were the Laura Ingalls Wilder series. I loved reading those books over and over.
