Re: Killer Cuts (5:17pm May 19, 2009):

I am looking forward to reading several of these books. I am especially enjoying Alissa Johnson's series and cannot wait to read McAlistair's Fortune.

Re: Sunset Bay (11:59am May 3, 2009):

I hope you had lots of fun at your tea. I think it would be wonderful to meet with authors and talk with them. A good experience with an author probably goes a long way in influencing people to buy the author's books.

Re: The Madness Of Lord Ian Mackenzie (11:47am April 29, 2009):

This sounds like it is going to be a great series. I bought my copy of Ian's book this morning, and I hope I have time to read it soon.

Re: The Accidental Human (3:17pm April 12, 2009):

Certain covers definitely catch my notice and make me stop to read more about the books. Books with bright colors or good looking men are two things that I usually notice. It takes a great blurb, though, for me to actually purchase a book. Also, I have a long list of authors who I will buy no matter what their covers look like. So I guess covers only play a very small role in what books I buy. As to discrepancies in the hero/heroine, they don't really bother me. Once I start reading a story, I just picture whatever the author describes and the cover no longer matters.

Re: Paradise Valley (11:11am April 11, 2009):

I just finished Kerrelyn Spark's Secret Life Of A Vampire. I love the whole Love At Stake Series and really enjoyed reading the latest book. I am starting Tempted At Midnight by Jacquie D'Alessandro now.

Happy Easter weekend!

Re: Rewriting Monday (12:34pm April 7, 2009):

When I was younger, I let a few people walk over me a little bit. I would like to go back and stand up for myself in those past situations. I have grown a lot of confidence over the years that I wish I had had when I was younger.

Re: Dragonbound (12:33pm April 6, 2009):

I agree with Lisa. You should follow your muse. Write whatever will make you the happiest or whatever you feel inspired to write.

Re: Kiss Of Darkness (7:50am March 27, 2009):

Those certainly are some hunky heroes. I really enjoyed reading this. Your books sound great!

Re: Would-Be Witch (3:27pm March 16, 2009):

The historical setting I would want to visit is Regency London. I would love to attend balls and wear some of the clothes from that time.

Re: Safe By His Side (1:11pm March 5, 2009):

I can so relate to having a love/hate relationship with exercise. I know it is good for me, but it is so hard to make myself do it. The flip side of that is that I love fattening foods like chocolate, but I hate that I gain wait from eating them.

I love paranormal romance whether it is light or dark and I still love vampires. I do have a love/hate relationship with rakish heroes, though. In one way, I am tired of them, but then I read a book with one and I am sucked right into pulling for him.

Re: Highland Warrior (11:46am February 16, 2009):

Hi Monica,

Highland Warrior was an absolutely wonderful book! I am so excited for the releases of Highland Outlaw and Highland Scoundrel.

My favorite features on author websites are excerpts and behind the scenes features about the books like deleted scenes. I like to know what things inspire authors to write the stories that they do.
