Re: Feels Like Falling (12:04pm November 20, 2018):

I think we all have 'secrets.' But probably not dark ones.
I like to read about past & secrets overcome. I think it
gives hope.

Re: Mistletoe in Texas (1:13pm September 30, 2018):

Think I need to read this series. I like cowboy stories
and altho I didn't get to meet the Rodeo champion himself
(deceased) -- Jim Shoulders, 16 world championships, I did
get to know his wife. Since then, rodeo stories have
become especially favorites to read.

Re: Secrets and Sins: Raphael (12:10pm May 5, 2014):

I don't swear much, but do say 'cr*p' when something goes
wrong.
My grandmother didn't use cuss words, but she did say 'oh,
phooey'. My children then called her Phooey instead of
grandma, or the Mama Florence I called her.
I can remember when I was in elementary school, my mother
trying to teach a neighbor boy (maybe 2 yrs old) to say
'sh*t'. She could say it so one could taste it, and she got
the little one to say it too.

Re: The Roses Underneath (12:42pm February 1, 2014):

I believe art to be very valuable -- and I don't mean monetary valuable, though much certainly is. No, art is valuable because it is what makes us people, what gives us beauty. God created the world and the beauty thereof, and he created us, but within us He gave the ability to create other kind of beauty. Some of that is the art - in whatever, and in many, forms.

Re: How Beauty Met the Beast (10:27pm December 22, 2013):

Both titles, The Elf and the Ice Princess and How Beauty Met the Beast, sound like interesting reads. I especially liked the blurb for the Elf and the Ice Princess. Jax Garren is a new author for me, but from these 2 blurbs (& the interview), it looks like I'll be checking her out.

Re: Billionaire Blend (4:31pm December 3, 2013):

The first chapter has certainly whetted my appetite. I must read this book (and catch up on the earlier ones, too). The recipes will be an added bonus! The Pumpkin Spice Muffins would go really well with a good 'cuppa joe'. And that Skillet Lasagna looked awfully good in the pic on Mystery Lovers' Kitchen page.

Re: Aloha Rose (8:09pm November 26, 2013):

I've been asked recently if I quilt. I do not, but I love seeing all the beautiful quilts. Many of the newer quilts of today are more done as works of art I think rather than utilitarian. But the older quilts, those that were used every day, some of those are also so beautiful. And yes, I can see where a quilt could bring one home.

Re: Prince of Secrets (10:47pm July 2, 2013):

Wow! SIX! That's great. The release dates are close --
does that mean you were writing all 6 at the same time? I
really can't imagine how an author can do all that writing
and be so creative about it. And that's not just the novels
themselves, but all the blogs, promos, and other things that
have to be written and done.
I'm reading ONE NIGHT HEIR now, and enjoying it immensely.

Projects I need to do: write Thank You notes, many! And I
have some cross stich projects I began years ago, and still
haven't finished. And my TBR list is just getting longer
and taller!!!!

Re: Midnight Exposure (12:01pm October 29, 2012):

Kay Scarpetta may be my literary heroine, atho I guess she is
trained. When I was younger, Miss Marple of Agatha Christie's
books was probably one of my favorites. Not sure that I have
a real-life heroine other than my grandmother, who lived to
age 93.

Re: The Spy Who Saved Christmas (10:03pm October 4, 2010):

I love to read- although I
haven't had as much time
lately; I've started a new job
(and loving it). My daughter
would say I'm addicted to
facebook - especally farmville
& zoo. My reading tends to
the suspense/mystery type --
and for years I subscribed to
Intrigue. Now I buy those at
the bookstore, while my
subscription is the Love
Inspired Suspense. I'm
looking forward to buying "The
Spy Who Saved Christmas".
