Re: The Vampire Shrink (10:31am April 30, 2012):

I love all the ghost stories. I'm more of a believer in ESP. Just this Sat., a boy I lived next door to contacted me on FB. I hadn't lived in the same town with him since we were 10 and never thought of him. At lunch, the same day, my father brought him up. We were talking about professional baseball and he said, "You know so-and-so was drafted by by the majors."(many years ago) It was so weird.

Re: Sex, Lies and Contracts (4:25pm March 23, 2012):

I like alpha heroes. But it's their actions, not words, that count. No bullying. No meanness. It's a cliche, but he has to have a kind heart.

Re: Secrets: Desires Unleased (9:56pm August 25, 2011):

Just wanted to say hi. Don't know what manga is and don't really have any pets, so I shall not enter the contest. But all the pet stories area cute and I like how ALF got his name. (I have too much outdoor wildlife to have animals inside.)

Re: Runestone (9:21am July 9, 2011):

Behaviour is the sexiest thing to me. A man hard at work, a guy playing ball with his kids, stuff like that. Doesn't have to be heroic stuff either, though that is definitely sexy as well. A smile on his face is a big plus.

Re: The Lust Boat (11:14am May 28, 2011):

Great memories, Roz. I was one of 5 kids. That station wagon would be packed! We did a lot of road trips, plus I traveled with extended family. We always played a lot of games. 2 points for spotting a bird, 5 points for a cow. lol License plates. And the word games which I still play with my kids. 'I'm taking my suitcase on a trip and I have an anorak'. I've passed those things onto my kids, but will they pass them on to theirs? Or will the built in TV, laptop, ipod etc. overcome the fun of "togetherness"?

Re: Laird of Darkness (7:00pm March 23, 2011):

I like an unconventional heroine and also your reason(s) for making her that way. The early love scenes will be more believable. Now I have to run over to Carina since someone said you're on their bestseller list. Congrats on that!!

Re: Secrets Volume 29 Indulge Your Fantasies (11:46am September 21, 2010):

I love Scotland and agree with every word you say. It is magical and evocative. Anyone who wonders about ghosts should visit Culloden battlefield - it will make you a believer.
Nicole's heroes fit that tough, wild, and romantic country perfectly. I wish I were going in a couple weeks!

Re: Dark Deception (8:48am September 1, 2010):

Hi Suzanne, It is definitely true that chasing a publishing career is a lengthy process requiring buckets of patience. Oddly enough, I consider myself an inpatient person, as well. But I try very hard to think only about the part of it I control. My work. Sounds like you did the same. Good luck with your release! It sounds wonderful.

Re: Hell, Yeah (8:32am August 27, 2010):

Thanks, Carolyn! I'm the lucky winner of your book and it arrived today and it looks wonderful. I can't wait to read it! I see you got some fabulous reviews!

Re: The Star Necklace (2:03pm August 23, 2010):

Hmmm, this points out the fact that there's all kinds of flashing. Too often, it's not the kind that lights up your day, lol. She probably would have been embarrassed, esp. if you hopped off a motorcycle to tell her. So no need to feel badly that you couldn't.

Re: The Star Necklace (8:23pm August 19, 2010):

Oooh Patricia, you have a kilt-wearing husband? Yeah, you'd better watch him!! lol

Re: The Star Necklace (11:26pm August 17, 2010):

Thanks everyone for joining me today. It's been fun!

Re: The Star Necklace (9:07pm August 17, 2010):

Brenda, I'm starting to realize I could do a whole blog series on this subject. lol Greece, St. Marten, Switzerland and Mexico are all places off the top of my head where I've seen folks who think clothing is optional. I saw what you're talking about with people doing a mud bath thing in St Marten. Not pretty. (We were on a boat.)

Re: The Star Necklace (9:00pm August 17, 2010):

Mary, you're undoubtedly in the majority, at least in the US.

S Tieh, they are probably much more circumspect in the winter!

Re: The Star Necklace (3:58pm August 17, 2010):

Robin, I'm not one who wants to be naked in mixed company. Visited a friend once who was having a pool party. He forgot to mention they were skinny dipping. I worked with him. It was too awkward. I got the heck out of there.

Re: The Star Necklace (3:55pm August 17, 2010):

Cynthia, I wonder if it's harder for women to not only admit to voyeurism, but also to even do it. Unlike men, we're not really brought up to believe it's acceptable behavior. Of course, there are some co-ed bathrooms even in the US, but that crosses the line for me.

Re: The Star Necklace (11:44am August 17, 2010):

Karin, so I guess you saw some nudists, as well. lol

Lyn, yes Austria is a beautiful and friendly country. Vienna has so many all-pedestrian zones. It's nice for visitors.

Peggy and Vickie, I wonder why we are so different in this country? (I have no theory, lol.)

Re: Home is Where the Bark is (8:07pm August 12, 2010):

All of my cooking results in disaster. But here's a cheesecake story. We were on a cruise, having lunch. Only hubby ate dessert, a nice big slice of cheesecake. He ate and ate while the kids and I watched. Finally, he pushed away the empty plate and said, "You know, I really don't like cheesecake." It's a byword in our family now when someone does something silly. "cheesecake" We all start laughing.

Re: Hell, Yeah (8:02pm August 12, 2010):

Hi Carolyn, I'm late but I just wanted to say I love your voice. Will be looking out for your book. I would ask Travis if Cathy had to save him from the rats!
