Re: A Family Under the Christmas Tree (8:21pm October 31, 2016):
Baking cookies until I couldn't stand up is crazy, but still a great memory with my mother - they went to so many people, and I really miss her oatmeal cookies - sometimes she'd make them look like crispy lace and sometimes all fat & chewy. Never could figure out the cut flour or sugar or is it add flour... or sugar? BTW I'd grab up the Family under a Christmas Tree just because of the Berner puppy.. but after reading the blurb, I know I'll enjoy the story, too.
Re: Taken by the Highlander (8:42am January 4, 2016):
My husband has always worked, so it has been rare to have a New Year's eve together, but he's never missed an opportunity to call me as close to midnight as was possible. And then the kiss when he got home.
Re: Crimson Heart (7:48pm June 29, 2014):
Thank you for fleshing out your characters (so to speak)... It's well worth the effort from this side of the page :-)
Re: If Wishes Were Earls (8:04pm December 31, 2013):
HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Flipped on my Kindle when I came in from work and THERE IT IS..!! 'If Wishes..' is Right there. Who needs a funky ball in Times Square when I've got a new book! YAY..!!
Re: Rugged Hearts (8:42am December 6, 2013):
Wouldn't we all love to heal a broken spirit, and have a HEA.. :-)
Re: Winning a Bride (6:19pm July 5, 2013):
well, I recommend instead of 'short' the 'long' becomes a serial! I'd buy it!
Re: Jane's Gift (9:55am December 8, 2012):
I admire authors who can take a tough subject, such as living with challenges such as Jane's. It can be tough going at times, but it is well worth reading (and making it an HEA to boot).
Re: The Curse (12:53pm September 16, 2012):
I have a few of the e-reader programs on my iPhone, but for my Keepers.. I'll make the special effort to find the book, be it paperback or hardback. It's too easy to me to stop reading an eBook and not go back for ages, while a print copy is in my hands and in front of my face until I'm ready to let go.
Re: The Spy Who Left Me (6:36pm November 25, 2011):
Our daughter is home from college, we had a good sized group in for Thanksgiving dinner and hopefully a relaxing weekend - even if there is housework to be done - Your new books looks like fun. I'm sure many have wondered what it'd be like to have a James Bond for a husband (I, at least, know what it was like to have a father Named James Bond).
Re: Darn Good Cowboy Christmas (11:42pm November 4, 2011):
Hey, Santa, I'd like to find a Darn Good Cowboy under the Christmas tree. Can't say I've been a good girl, but I'm not so sure that's what a cowboy would want anyway. xx
Re: An Unlikely Countess (5:06pm March 19, 2011):
I'm sure there are plenty of people who aren't satisfied with their 'place' but the conflict can certainly bring a lot of personal growth.
Re: Society's Most Disreputable Gentleman (1:56pm February 9, 2011):
Take the bad boy, let him fall in love and all that 'bad' can be a marriage full of fun.
Re: Eternal Prey (8:42pm January 26, 2011):
Great explanation on the alpha hero... the truly, madly, deeply, oh, AND intelligently. No wonder I've loved reading your books!
Re: Cowboys Never Cry (7:40pm December 28, 2010):
Making the characters a bit of a mystery to friends and family can be fun and frustrating. Especially, as you noted, bits and pieces of life as you've experienced it are all you use in any given character. Its interesting how many authors have mentioned their book characters 'showed up' one day and insisted their story be written.
I'm looking forward to a Wyoming story - Lived in Jackson Hole and still miss it. Revisiting through stories is a warm fuzzy.
Happy New Year!
