Re: Highland Hellcat (11:55am October 16, 2010):

For me it's coffee. I love coffee! I have a regular coffee pot, a coffee grinder and a Keurig machine. I prefer to grind my own beans because it's fresh and of course the smell. For one of my daughters, it's hot chocolate. She drinks a cup before school in the morning and one when she gets home. For my other daughter, milk, which is a good thing. And for my husband, give him anything diet and he'll drink it.

Re: Backstage Pass (10:38am October 14, 2010):

This sounds like a really fun series. My husband is in concert production so it will be nice to read about a subject I know. We have two daughters (6 and 4) and two cats so we do alot of herding. Somedays I feel that's all I do. I swear our cats are more like dogs though. They have the strangest personalities and they fit their names really well (Agent 001 and Ibanez).
Much luck and success with your upcoming series.

Re: Seducing The Duchess (10:39am October 6, 2010):

You know nowadays I don't get as many "looks" when checking out. Maybe its that times have changed or maybe we are just not as censored anymore but I never was embarrsed about my books purchases. I plopped those suckers up on the counter and silently dared the cashier to give me a look. Of course, these days we now have the wonderful would wide web where we can purchase any book and not feel guilty about it. I love romances especially historical and I read at least one or two a week so next time I'm in Barnes and Nobles I will gladly plop your book up on the counter and silently dare the cashier to give me the "look".
Much success to you in the future!

Re: Hidden Wives (12:12pm June 26, 2010):

Lately, I have been in a similar funk as well. Urban fantasy, paranormal, even romance right now to me seems the same. Recently I picked The Help by Kathryn Stockett and was pleasantly surpristed. Being from Mississippi I was a little wary at first but I'm very glad I did. Earlier this week I also found out that they are making it into a movie and it will be shot here in Mississippi. Anyhoo....I'm hoping my reading muse will perk up pretty soon because I do so love a good paranormal and urban fantasy novel.
Hope everyone has a pleasant weekend!

Re: A Thread So Thin (8:02pm May 8, 2010):

I have recently started reading alot of YA and the reason I think that is, is because some tend to have more innocense and less bedroom scenes. I remember being a teenager and having crushes and just the feeling of getting butterflies by only holding hands or a quick kiss made it seem so much more.....well just more. I think when we all grow up and get married we have less of those days. I guess what I'm trying to say is its nice to travel back and remember what it was once to be young and carefree. Where a person's biggest worry was a test or two boys having a crush on you at the same time.

Re: Rumor Has It (9:15am May 6, 2010):

I grew up in a very small town so I know exactly what you mean. If you didn't want your dirty laundry aired all about town you had to be a good girl (well at least until you moved away, wink).
Your book sounds fun and I believe I shall have to give it a read.

Re: Think Twice (5:09pm May 2, 2010):

Last week I read an excellent book by an author I'd never heard of and I am sooooo glad I did. I could not put it down and when I was finished I felt refreshed because there was hardly any bedroom scenes. Lately there seems to be so much sex in books and it tends to take up so much of the story that I feel cheated out of a plot. Sorry....I just don't know where that came from (lol).
The Apothecary's Daughter by Julie Klassen was wonderful and I wholeheartly recommend it. Another great book I read last week was Pleasure of A Dark Prince (#9 immortals after dark series) by Kresley Cole. Loved it!!! Ms. Cole never disappoints.

Re: Rule's Bride (3:14pm April 23, 2010):

This sounds like a very fun series and the covers are just lovely.

Re: The Mane Squeeze (2:04pm February 28, 2010):

I'm currently reading for work/fun, The Feckin' Book Of Everything Irish right now. Trying to do a little research for my upcoming trip to Ireland in September. Also watching some online reading courses as well.

Re: Seeing Red (1:42pm February 28, 2010):

Febuary has been a really busy month for me but I mananged to read Chris Marie Green Vampire Babylon series (except for her newest). I enjoyed it very much. Also started L.A. Banks Vampire Huntress series. Only on book 2 but there's alot of books in that series so it should keep me busy for awhile.

Re: My Dearest Mr. Darcy (11:22am January 7, 2010):

This book sounds delightful!

As far as birthing scenes, nothing comes to mind from any movies, T.V. or books. I will say however that I have witnessed live births because once upon a time I was a surgical technologist. Non practing now so I can raise my two young daughters. I was always so glad to be apart of any birthings because it truly is an amazing experience.
