Re: Deadly Ties (11:54am February 8, 2011):

Wow sounds like a great book. I can't imagine the emotions you must have confronted writing it.

Re: Seducing the Knight (9:52pm June 12, 2010):

Ohhh I love treasure hunting!! DH does too, he recently got a new metal detector and we hope to do some hunting this fall/winter. We just love it all, the fact of finding something that is old is just thrill.

I'm not sure I've ever thought about hunting for one specfic thing.

Re: A Thread So Thin (11:11am May 16, 2010):

Yes I did have one. I guess in many ways I still do, since I tend to find myself talking to myself. ROFL.

As for authors, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Jude Deveraux, some of Judith McNaught's book, Toni Blake's Destiny Series, Larissa Ione, Donna Grant's Highlanders(um exactly how many times rereading one book does it take before you are labeled insane? There is a difference in readig the print and ebook verisons though right?), Sue-Ellen Welfonder, Collen Coble,...........there are others, tons of them. Carly Phillips Hot Zone books always make me laugh..... but yeah if I need a friend I'll often turn to books for that need.

Some books I swear I know more about them than I do real life people. Is that bad?

Re: Big Girl (12:30pm March 21, 2010):

Humm, I can't say I'm not as enthralled as I was. But Jude Deveraux was my first "adult" romance, and I still love her. She's written a few books I didn't care for but those are rare and few in number.
I'm can't really think of anyone else. I'll have to think on this today and come back.........

Great post Sandi!!!

Re: Forbidden Falls (3:41pm January 17, 2010):

Hummm I'm guess I'm kinda in the middle. I don't get the "latest" as I like to wait for the "bugs" to be worked out first. But I have an MP3/Video player, an ebook reader(just got), my laptop, 2 other desktops, my cell phone, digital camera, camcorder, and so forth............

I think it's all good but still keep in mind that without it life goes on, and try to make sure me and the kids remember how to live life without it all.

Re: Come Hell Or High Water (11:29am January 10, 2010):

Humm you describe that day that would be good, I'd have to say. A perfect day, I'd have to think about it. I'd probaby say a day when I get to read, hear my kids laugh, see my DH laugh and smile, talk with my mom, and then get to read more.ROFL.

I loved LOVED ONE RECKLESS SUMMER it was a great read and I can't wait for more. I wish we had more signings closer to me, I noticed my BN had a signing but it was an author of general fiction and I didn't/don't read the author so I didn't go.

I'm glad you had such a great day! I hope you enjoy many many more.

Re: The Promise (12:00pm October 13, 2009):

Ohh I certainly think reading the older titles is a must. I still adore many.

As for aging, OMG if you find a way to slow things down please let me know. But for me I want to slow my kids down. I swear it's like they grow years with each day.

Now you'll have me thinking about this all day. What a great post!.

Re: The Perfect Couple (11:49am August 9, 2009):

Hi Sandy, I love Brenda as you know and loved loved THE PERFECT COUPLE. I hate you for reading THE PERFECT LIAR, you tease!!!ROFL.

Actually I do know of a couple of authors who lost contracts, Gennita Low lost hers but is now publishing with and ebook publisher and will release book 2 in her series...there was another one but for the life of me can't think who it was. many are pushing hard to keep there books moving off shelves. I think it's really sad, especially with as many books as they say are selling.

I wonder if there's things we as readers can do that we aren't doing?
Great contest tooo and you know I do so love Sherrilyn and Dianna!!!

Re: Hot Pursuit (10:00pm August 2, 2009):

Well you know what I said in the group. Since I was in the group.LOL I don't use my library as much as I once did. Mostly because the closest one with books I'd want is about 20miles away....and it's just a pain to visit them. So I probably spend less time there now......

Re: Mackenzie's Legacy (5:40pm July 26, 2009):

You know I love Jude Deveraux's Montgomery and Taggert's aLOT. They have spanned many many generations and she continues to add to the group. I love that. they aren't series so much since they don't have to be read together for the newer books, mostly, but they are related.

I too love Howard's McKenzie family and I'd love to see an update. There are others but my mind went blank. I think I'd be upset to see a believed character die however if they died of old age or natural causes I think I could take it, it's life. If it's paranormal they never have to die, but if not, then I think I'd be fine.

great great post.

WendyK
