In America's last wilderness there are no limits to
what
a man can do.
For detective Nick Brodie, that means keeping the perps
off
the streets of Anchorage 24/7. Nick has never backed
down
from danger, but after the horrors he's seen, he's
definitely in need of a break.
Samantha Hollis never thought she'd meet anyone like
Nick,
especially in a place like Las Vegas. But after one
reckless, passionate night, she discovers the charismatic
stranger is everything she wants in a man. But can he
ever
be anything more than a one-night stand?
When Nick invites her to Alaska, Samantha decides to find
out, never guessing the depths she'll discover in him or
the
tangle of murder, kidnapping, and danger about to engulf
them both. . .

Peggy-- I have some very loyal readers. they just put me on #7 on the New York times. (Kat Martin 6:47pm February 6, 2015)
I would never have had the guts to take the kind of trip that you did, but I'm sure that the scenery itself was breathtaking, even though you had a couple of minor glitches along the way!! I've always had an itch to go there, but since my Husband isn't big on traveling that far, I suppose I'll just have to either visit it in my dreams, or by looking at it in photos or books!! I really enjoyed reading your posting, and am looking forward to reading your latest book!! Congratulations on what I'm sure will be another big hit!! (Peggy Roberson 10:40am February 19, 2015)
thanks, Peggy! The book has been real success-- 3 weeks on the New York Time! a first for me. I think the Alaska setting has been intriguing to readers--and of course, Nick is a major hunk, which doesn't hurt. Hope you get a chance to visit Alaska someday. In the meantime, i hope you enjoy reading about it in my books! kat (Kat Martin 3:06pm February 19, 2015)
I have always thought that Alaska would be a great place to visit. My husband went there with the Air Force, but I have never had the opportunity.
Kat, when I see your name, I always think of my daughter and I having donating toys to your cause. (Gladys Paradowski 12:09pm February 21, 2015)
I have always wanted to drive up to Alaska & see as much of that state as possible. With your series, I can visualize all of Alaska's wonder. Thank you. (Sue Ellis 11:38am February 21, 2015)
