Re: Stealing Harper (5:25am May 19, 2013):
Okay, I'm reading through some of the excerpts and the blog posts on the tour and it hits me like lightning...BAM!!... I haven't read Taking Chances yet and if I continue on I might spoil it for myself. So I just got to stop. One thing I do know from what I've read so far is that I REALLY REALLY REALLY NEED to read Taking Chances! Now I'm bookmarking all the tour stops to come back and read after I've read Taking Chances.
Re: Lush (8:50pm April 3, 2013):
I loved Tart. Cal, Gideon and Jules made the perfect threesome. Their story was so romantic. Cal and Gideon were OMG!!-I'm over-heating-swoon worthy. I've Inducted them into my fantasy harem. I loved all the camaraderie, and friendship interconnections in Tart. I can't wait to read Lush!!!
Re: Fall Into You (11:46pm January 20, 2013):
I'm a series junkie. If the books have sequentially tied plots then I will usually go back and start from the very beginning. I hate missing anything and feeling out of the loop. If the books have only loosely tied commonalities then I don't have a problem jumping in with the current book and working my way around to the others.
Re: Waltz With A Stranger (6:58pm December 21, 2012):
I come from a very large extended family so series involving large families always appealed to me. They, like my own, always have something exciting or fun going on not to mention the slew of unique and interesting caste of characters. That's not to say that there isn't just as much potential for tragedy and adversity. The key is that in the end we all band together to get through the good and the bad.
Here are a few of my favorite fictional families: Jillian Hunters Boscastles Jennifer Ashley's MacKenzies Karen Hawkin's MacLeans and Hursts Maya Banks McCabes
Your Waltz with a Stranger sounds like a delightful read and I would love the chance to add Aurelia's and James' families to my list. Thanks for the chance to win your book. Wishing everyone a wonderfully joyous holiday season!!!
Re: Deliver Me From Temptation (6:29pm December 21, 2012):
Truth be told, I'm too chicken to get in over my head at least not in the way the heroines in the PNRs do. I make my excitement living vicariously through my favorite literary heroines.
I've had your Paladin Warriors series on my TBR radar but haven't had the chance to read any yet. I would love to win Deliver Me From Darkness. The excerpt had me on the edge of my seat. It's so suspenseful. I can't wait to see how the see how it turns out. Thanks for the giveaway and Happy Holidays.
Re: Ashes Of Twilight (10:50am November 17, 2012):
I love the steampunk genre. ASHES OF TWILIGHT sounds intriguing with all the various inspirations that you drew from.
Re: Secrets Of A Wedding Night (3:16pm September 29, 2012):
Brain power is always sexy. I tutor high school and college math include finite, calc, and Stat so a hero who is a math genius sounds like a real turn on. Put him in a battle of wits and wills against a heroine that can more than hold her own, I can't wait to read about the inevitable sparks that bound to fly in this one. And he's a card shark too,, bonus!! I have friends and family that hang out and pull all-nighter card games; Spades, Rummy 500, and Bid Whist. I hadn't heard of a two player whist game before. The one we play is a four player game played by partners. I've never heard of faro, though. I'll have to look it up. Maybe we can add it to our game night.
Re: Boyfriend From Hell (11:40am September 24, 2012):
WOW! I really have to start paying more attention to my coffee mugs or get some new ones :) This sounds like a really exciting and sexy series concept. Thanks for the chance to win.
Re: Seduction's Shift (2:09pm September 23, 2012):
Panthers - Dense sculpted muscles that ripple under a sleek and luxurious coat, eyes that can mesmerize with deadly and seductive intensity = WOW, I'm already panting just think about it.
Re: Where There's A Will (12:02pm September 21, 2012):
I'm a romance-aholic and proud to be. Some of my favorite sub-genres are historical, paranormal, and sci-fi. Two of my favorite themes are transcending the mortal enemy/forbidden love obstacle and/or when one partner has to break through the wall of ice/fear/distrust that the other has built up in order to show them what they've been missing
Re: A Lady And Her Magic (3:05pm September 14, 2012):
It was 1977, and my first love was approximately 7in wide and a little over two feet long, red plastic with black translucent polyurethane wheels and axles that could spin almost a complete 360. It was my first skateboard and man did that thing go everywhere with me. I wouldn't let it out of my sight. I almost forgot how to walk. As long as I was not in the house, why walk when you could roll.
Re: Kiss Of Steel (2:29pm September 14, 2012):
Hi Bec, I'm right there with you on this one. I generally like my vampires sensuously dark and seductive but with a generous dose of lethally dangerous in the mix. Your KISS OF STEEL, melding paranormal romance and steampunk, is a 2 for 1 for me. I'll get two of my favorite genres in what sounds like one suspenseful steamy read. Can't wait. And oh, BTW your cover art rocks!! Loving it!
Re: Temptation In A Kilt (6:28pm September 8, 2012):
"My what huge hard muscles you have" "All the more for you to hold onto as I use them to flip, lift, and turn you in the most tempting ways" "My how your kilt parts in the most seductive ways when you move"
A strong willed damsel in distress. A hard body bad-boy highland warrior. "All the better to give you a glimpse of what you can look forward to, my dear" "My what a deep voice and captivating accent you have." "All the more to take you over the edge when you make me use it to call out your name"
A strong willed damsel in distress. A hard body, bad-boy highland warrior. Your TEMPTATION IN A KILT sounds delicious. I kept imagining Ciaran's voice as I read your above excerpts. Think Sean Connery, Henry Ian Cusick, Ray Park, Ewan Mcgregor, Gerard Butler, and ...*swoon*
Re: When You Give A Duke A Diamond (5:05pm September 8, 2012):
I don't like heroines who are spoiled, selfish, and/or shallow. What I do like are heroines who are intelligent, brave, and capable even if they are naive, inexperienced, and/or innocent. You know, the type who can think for herself, show some resourcefulness and able to adapt. Having a quick sharp wit and down to earth quirkiness is also a plus.
This new series with fallen women as the heroines sounds very intriguing. I'm already imagining all the possibilities for sensual tension and heat between Juliet and William, two seemingly opposites. Can't Wait!
