“The sky is blue.” What happens next is a whirlwind of adventure, romance,
conspiracy and the struggle to stay alive in a world where
nothing is as it seems. Wren unwittingly becomes a catalyst
for a revolution that destroys the dome and the only way to
survive might be to embrace what the entire society has
feared their entire existence.

This book sounds really good. I like how Wren is not a shrinking violet. She
sounds like a great heroine. I love old Star Trek and love how you found
inspiration from that great old show.

I remember that old Star Trek episode and that line or title

Impressive sources of inspiration... your book deserves to go a long way. Anything written from the heart is so much more powerful. I have not read much steampunk yet, as it's still a comparatively new genre, but I have read SF and historicals set in times when coal was everything, and it's great to combine the two concepts.

What a wonderful thing that you did to have these coal miners to be remembered. Coal mining is a tough and dangerous job but as you mentioned sometimes it is the only job within miles of the community.
