You can't read enough great cowboy stories. Not only to you get a great story but you get to visit places that are wonderful sites of history.. Thanks so much for the adventure...

Re: The Fire In Ember (7:50am January 10, 2011):

I to love historical romances.. I shared that love with my GAunt who passed 2 wks before Thanksgiving this year. She gave me a journal when I was younger so I could record my stories I used to rattle off to her. She always laughed at them or cryed. She was my biggest fan.
Also she was a great source of info. Being she was born 1918 she lived through a lot of great times. Her mother my G Grandmother lived to be 103 yrs old and she also gave me great stories to remember and write about. I know thats where my love of historical romances came from. They both with my Grandmother also, loved giving me many ideas and stories of times gone by....
Blessings,
Heidi

Re: Pinned for Murder (1:32pm October 26, 2010):

That's a great way to start your work on characters.. I do some of the same things... its like I come up with a name for them then what they look like, what they like, where they are from or live and then its a real person to me.. Almost like she or he is sitting there telling me all about themselves. I feel I've made a new friend..Thanks for sharing your process and I cant wait to read your next book.. I do enjoy them a lot...

Re: Sex And The Single Earl (1:55pm May 19, 2010):

I like the small town settings. It seems they get lost in the bigger cites and they don't last. In the small town cities its more comfortable, you seem closer, you talk to each other more.

Re: The Highest Stakes (12:25pm April 1, 2010):

Hi Emery,
Your book sounds wonderful. I love how yu mix the fact w/ fiction. From what I read it's a good mix. Hopefully I can win yur book but if I don't I'm still going to order it. thanks again....

Re: The Betrayal Of The Blood Lily (10:02pm March 21, 2010):

Where do I go? Ever since I was a little girl when I wanted to go some where I would grab some paper and pencil and start writing. I have been to some amazing places. I also read a lot so there are those places also. But I think some of the greatest times I had was when I was creating them.
I still write all the time and I also read about 5 or 6 bokks a week. What I find so amazing is I can pick up a book I read 3 or more yrs ago and I can still tell you what its about.
I also live in PA so I've had a lot of cold snow days when there was nothing to do.

Re: Big Girl (7:49pm March 21, 2010):

I was 12 yrs old and it was "Interview with a Vampire". Now it may not been a true romance but it had lots of action in it for a 12 yr old. I hid it under my pillow and read it every night by flashlight. Then I started picking up my mother's Danielle Steele's and anything else i could get my hands on.

Re: The Cowboy From Christmas Past (1:59pm March 18, 2010):

I loved your Grandmother. My Grams was just like her. I miss her very day of my life.
Thank you for a great story...
