Re: Bite Me (12:04pm March 27, 2014):

I love your books & can't wait to read this one. Thanks for sharing in your
writing process. I, too, have watched a documentary & they are mean &
crazy & amazing.

Re: Untamed (9:11pm November 23, 2012):

Usually, we decorate for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving but this year we were too tired. We've had months of running with my niece's wedding, gobs of company, I could go on. What a great family tradition you have with your family

Re: Blackmailed by the Italian Billionaire (2:06am April 22, 2012):

I think the age difference of the hero and heroine will decrease so there isn't such a gap in ages. Maybe even see older woman, younger man?

Re: Darkfire Kiss (5:20pm June 9, 2011):

I love the Dragonfire series and I'm looking forward to to Zoe's spinoff.

Re: One Touch of Scandal (4:28pm September 26, 2010):

I reward myself with a book.

Re: Dragon Unmasked (2:49pm June 16, 2010):

It takes something really bad to not be able to read. When my husband died I couldn't focus enough to read for a couple of months. But on the other hand books helped me through some really bad moments after my husband died also. I've always been a reader and I foresee myself as always reading. Love my books.

Re: Silent Truth (2:13am April 19, 2010):

I totally agree with passions changing over a life time. Times and circumstances affect the change. One thing that hasn't changed for me in years is that I passionately feel it is a woman's duty to help guide a younger woman. If only to listen. If I can share my life experiences and it helps someone I feel like I've made a difference. So often today we expect the younger generation to know it already and they don't. I know I'm a better person for the guidance I've received from the older women in my life.

Re: Big Girl (9:06pm March 21, 2010):

The Wolf and the Dove by Kathleen Woodiwiss. I was around 10/11, the book was my older sister's and I hid in the closet to read it so I wouldn't get caught. I've been hooked ever since. The Promise is the only Danielle Steel book I've ever read, just couldn't get into her. My best friend has every book of hers and that's all she reads. I tell her there are so many other good authors around she should broaden her horizons; she said she's tried a couple but no go. She's sticking with her Danielle.

Re: The You I Never Knew (11:22pm March 14, 2010):

It really depends on my mood whether I want to laugh or cry or both when I pick out a book to read. I always have books in my TBR stack but if I'm in a certain mood I choose Lynsay Sands Vampire Series, Katie MacAlister, Dakota Cassidy's Accidentals or Michelle Bardsley for laughs. I don't purposly pick a book to cry, but sometimes I need comfort so I read Julie Garwood's Midevil or Highlanders books or Nalini Singh's psy/changling series or Christine Feehan. No matter the conflict in the books, I know it will end well. Life doesn't always have a happily ever after so I need my books that do have a HEA. I don't have a problem crying when I read but I don't seek it out. I like a book to take me where it will, not matter the emotions.

Re: The Edge of Winter (9:23pm February 22, 2010):

Deep Kiss of Winter by Kresley Cole & Gena Showalter.
Kresley's story has Valkeries & Vampires continuing her Immortals After Dark series. Gena's story has Shape-shifter heroine & Goldenskin warrior continuing her Alien Huntress series. Both are great reads!

Re: Accidentally Demonic (4:46am February 19, 2010):

Hi Dakota, love your books. Makes me laugh! Follow you on Accidentals though I'm mostly lurky.

Re: Down By The River (9:29pm January 25, 2010):

I am absolutely addicted to series. Some of my favorites are Sherrilyn Kenyon, Christine Feehan, LK Hamilton, Stephanie Laurens, Lynsay Sands and JD Robb, to name a few. My mom drives me crazy because she will start a series in the middle. I'm a firm believer of starting at the first, even if I have all the other books, if I don't have the first one I'll let them sit on the shelf until I acquire the one I need. I do read stand alone books; there are just too many good books out to limit myself.

Re: My Unfair Lady (12:51pm December 4, 2009):

OOps! My daughter's name keeps coming up instead of mine! Jean Merriott

Re: My Unfair Lady (12:49pm December 4, 2009):

I'm not a writer, just an enjoyer (did I coin a new word there?) of "stories". I too, love to observe people, old young, & everyone in between. Sometimes you can imagine what they are like from their facial expressions & sometimes their actions speak louder than words! Will look for your book..it sounds like a good read.

Re: Searching For Pemberley (12:24pm December 4, 2009):

Oops! Don't know what the glitch is but my daughters name came up instead of mine! Jean Merriott

Re: Searching For Pemberley (12:22pm December 4, 2009):

I loved reading about your projecting your characters into your cleaning routine. It would be fun to be a fly on your wall! I'll bet you were like a few kiddies I know that have their dollies, bears, cats, & dogs holding all kinds of conversations back & forth with no stops for working out what they want them to say & with whatever accent! Will look for your book..it sounds like a good read.

Re: The Cowboy From Christmas Past (1:36pm December 1, 2009):

Your Grandma was a treasure! All the best memories to hold close & share with your family, friends, & fans! Happy Christmas! Joyous New Year!

Re: The Splendor Falls (1:10pm December 1, 2009):

OOPS!! That last comment was from Jean Merriott (Me)My daughter Jill & I share a computer! She's too young for a Grand son in law!! :) lol Jean Merriott [email protected]

Re: The Splendor Falls (1:04pm December 1, 2009):

The book sounds like a real attention grabber. I'd like it for my "grand son in law" who is a 6th grade teacher. He is just the best..all he asked for last Christmas was books (used or new) for his class. He's gotten a lot of non readers reading! This book should be a good temptation !!

Re: Angel Lane (4:41am October 2, 2009):

Loved your blog! With your great sense of humor the book should be a fun read & a big hit!!

Re: Table Manners (3:01am September 7, 2009):

OOPS. On Mom's computer and we both are registered with you and Jean Merriott's post is actually mine. I'm Daughter laboring and she's the best mom to reap the benefits.
Sorry for the mix-up!
Jill
