My Grandmother was all about myths & legends. I catch myself quoting her often, which feels odd, as we never got along. She once told me about a ghost light, in southern Missouri, that others claimed was a myth, but she had seen. She insisted it had to have a real cause & refused to believe in ghost, but admitted she did not know what it was. I always wanted to go see it.

A book being self published does not affect me one way or another. An except, now that can pull me in & the one above just did that. Now I want to know more. Tempting very tempting.

Fantasy is so much better than reality. I Love your books & find it interesting that your characters are so real to you. They become real to me & as I read I interact with them too. So no you are not mad, just vividly imaginative.

You said you like one of your romantic couple, to be pushed to the limit, to do something dramatic for the other. I like exploring the idea of how long does a person wait, even for love, when facing rejection. How long before "ok, that's enough" kicks in. As I myself have said "there are somethings you just can not do to me, not even for love." Exploring that line, where one changes to the other is interesting. Plus how do they handle that line, sulk off to nurse their wounds, start all over again, so many choices.

I loved Farscape also. I wouldn't tell my sfifi friends all the romantic feelings & thoughts the shows gave me. The daydreams that show gave me were great. I thought i was the only one who noticed...
