The last person Ellie McDermott
wanted to run into after returning to her hometown is Finn
Donovan, her high school nemesis and the guy she crossed the
line from enemies to lovers with one night years ago. Now
ex-military, tattooed, and still sexy as hell, Finn is a
complication Ellie doesn’t need—she needs to concentrate on
saving her family business.
Finn’s entire life, Ellie
was there, going head-to-head with him in every class, bee,
and test. So it’s no surprise she’d show up just as he was
about to take over her father's struggling business. It
is a surprise, though, that his attraction to her is
even more explosive than it had been. Acting on their
attraction is one thing, but Finn has to turn a profit to
save his own family, and nothing—not even love—will get in
his way.
I love books with quirky characters...pretty much like real life is. Throw in a good storyline that is well written and you have a great book to read. I would love to win this contest. Period. (C Culp 6:24am March 18, 2014)

I love series books - but that can be read as a "stand alone" in case you haven't read the books that came before the one you have in your hand. I love the feeling of coming home when I pick up a series book and get to visit with the other cast of characters. This sounds like a wonderful story - like all of your books. Thanks for the chance to win. Best of luck with this one and all you do. (Nancy Reynolds 9:17am March 18, 2014)

I like books that are part of a series. It makes you feel like you can revisit a favorite town or some old friends. I look forward to reading this one. Friends to lovers is a favorite trope of mine. (Debbie Burdeen 10:37am March 18, 2014)
I love catching up with characters from previous books in a series. I'm in the UK, but have had an amazon.com gift card before. If you go to the "manage your kindle" page there is a section called country settings, I can change between the UK and US store from there, which allows me to use a US Dollars gift card. (Jen Barnard 10:42am March 18, 2014)
I like series books. I read a lot of different series because I enjoy revisiting characters and towns that I like. (Sandy Giden 10:56am March 18, 2014)
There are a couple of series that I'm currently involved in, and the reason that I keep reading them is because I love the characters in the book. One involves a small town, and the characters involved go through their trials and triblulations, of course, and you feel like a fly on the wall, so to speak, and go through these problems with them. Sometimes they're good times, and of course, sometimes they're bad. One of these series is in their 10th book, I think. The other series is only in their 3rd, but I like the setting of the book, because it's cozy. If you adore the characters, you'll definately follow the course of the characters and watch them grow. The cover of your book is really sweet and sassy, and I'll be looking forward to reading your story!! (Peggy Roberson 11:02am March 18, 2014)
Series books are enjoyable as I catch up with all the characters and love to learn what is going on. Small towns are always appealing. (Sharon Berger 11:16am March 18, 2014)
I adore character driven stories - it's the people who make a book interesting. I also do like series especially those based in a small town... the recurring characters help pull everything together. I don't like when you have to read the series in order and can't miss a book - I prefer when each book is a complete standalone story as well as a part of the whole. :-) (Glenda Martillotti 12:59pm March 18, 2014)
This sounds like a wonderful story. (Cheryl Castings 1:08pm March 18, 2014)
I love seeing characters again that I have read in previous books... it is great to get a glimpse of what they have been up to since last reading about them. (Colleen Conklin 1:15pm March 18, 2014)
Sounds like another cool small town story! (Richard Burr 1:48pm March 18, 2014)
I do love series and small town stories. Sounds like a dream come true for me! (Denise Austin 3:30pm March 18, 2014)
I love the plot. It sort of reminds me of my own love story that turned out great. (Gladys Paradowski 4:27pm March 18, 2014)
I live in a small Southern town and I love books set in a small town. And stories where the heroine and hero knew each other in high school.:) (Patricia Preston 8:37pm March 18, 2014)

I love a series and I love revisiting familiar territory from prior books. Her Summer With The Marine sounds like a great read. (Melanie Backus 12:36pm March 19, 2014)
Hi, Susan! I love books that are in a series and enjoy going back to the families, friends, and small or large towns where they come from. Thanks for the giveaway! (Cathy Phillips 5:21am March 19, 2014)
Part of the year, I live in a rural area where the largest city in the whole county is 2000 people. Everybody knows your name.
As for series books, I love connected books as long as they can stand alone and are not repetitious.
Small town series I can relate to the close knit family ties, the camaraderie , the familiarity and cohesiveness. I like feeling that I belong to that community as a close friend or neighbor. The nosiness, the gossip, can be positive or detrimental but most people care and support one another.
Some of my favorite town town series writers are Debbie Macomber, with her Hard Luck, Alaska and more current Cedar Cove, Washington series. Susan Wiggs with her Avalon, New York books. Jill Shalvis with her Lucky Harbor, California series and Robyn Carr with her Virgin River, California series. (Laurie Gommermann 6:21am March 19, 2014)
Your stories always leave me with a happy sigh.
Yes, to both of the above! I love series books. ;) And I do love returning back to a familiar town, especially if it's populated by quirky characters. (Barbara White Daille 9:30am March 19, 2014)
I do enjoy series - returning to the places and characters that you enjoyed in previous books. It is a bit like returning to a favorite spot where you feel comfortable and relaxed! (Marguerite Guinn 10:00am March 19, 2014)
I love the connection I develop with characters in series books... (Diane Pollock 11:39am March 19, 2014)
I like series books if the characters are engaging. (Terri Quick 11:44am March 19, 2014)
I enjoy series books, the characters become like old friends, but, I also enjoy stand alone novels. This book sounds great! (Vennie Martinisi 2:08pm March 19, 2014)
I love small town series. They are always fun to read. (Rita Wray 2:56pm March 19, 2014)
I have mixed feelings about books being part of a series. I have some old favorites that I love, the Bragg series by Brenda Joyce being one of them, but I think series just go on for too long, with sometimes over ten books in the series. I think two should be the limit. And yes, I love to revisit old favorites! (Terri Childress 5:37pm March 19, 2014)
Any book set in a small town, especially if its in the South, captures me. Small town characters are the meat and bones of literature...just my two cents! (Susan Coster 9:29pm March 19, 2014)
I always enjoy books that are part of a series. Fun to read. (Mary Preston 10:54pm March 19, 2014)
I love books that are stand-alone and are part of the series. I do tend to revisit small town from time to time just to experience life's simplicity. (Kai Wong 11:52pm March 19, 2014)
i perfer books that is stand alone i find it hard to wait for the next one to come out (Denise Smith 8:36am March 20, 2014)
Love the cover and can't wait to read this book! Thank you. (Bonnie Capuano 8:41am March 20, 2014)

I like series books, but sometimes I wish the second book in the series would continue with the same couple that I fell in love with in the first book, not just include some passing connections. I often want to see how the relationship blooms after the Happy Ever After! Thanks for the contest! (Jan Terry 12:19pm April 2, 2014)
