Both Maria and Sandra have hit it head on in describing Marrying Daisy Bellamy.
I wasn't very far into the story when the emotional impact began for me, and the tears were flowing. Without giving spoilers I can't say why, but I had to set the book aside and give it serious thought as to whether or not I would be able to complete it at this time in my life.
After gathering my emotions I decided I had to know what happened, and dug back in. I'm very glad I did.
I totally enjoyed Marrying Daisy Bellamy, and it was just what the weatherman ordered for my stuck at home days.
Now to wait for the next book by Ms. Wiggs, who never disappoints me as a reader. (Sandi Shilhanek 1:20pm February 7, 2011)
