Long ago, a witch proclaimed an eternal curse that every
Corwin male who married for love would be destined to lose
his woman and his fortune...
he good news is that Mike, a police officer, awakens after
some hard partying in Vegas $100,000 richer and married to
Amber, the gorgeous woman he met the night before. The bad
news: His last name is Corwin. The really bad news is that
Amber's a consummate con who took his money and ran. Seems
the family curse has finally hit him.
But to Amber, Mike isn't business as usual. Something about
her new husband softens her steely heart, even as she
betrays him. And Mike, first hell-bent on divorce, welcomes
a second chance to defy the curse... and turn his run of bad
fortune into a lucky streak!

Re: Lucky Streak
Hmmm. I don't think it exists, as far as in an entity outside of our control. I think we create our own luck.

I think you can help LUCK work in your
favor by being prepared for when good
things happen you are ready :)

I'd like to think luck or lucky can happen to anybody if you put your mind to it.

I think everyone is lucky, we just need to look in the right places of our lives.

I believe we make our own luck ... unless I'm playing yahtzee with my husband. Then, it's ONLY luck because I swear he cheats!

Carly, I am anxious to read your 'Lucky Books'. They sound like a perfect summer read. To me luck is being in the right place at the right time.

I think a person's "good" or"bad" luck is at least partly determined by ones attitude; if you think something isn't going to work, it usually doesn't.

He sounds much more forgiving than I
would be if conned in a similar manner.

Oh, yeah, luck exists, more so for some than others!

I think Carly is right about part of luck is being ready. Part of that is laying the groundwork, and using good sense (if it looks too good to be true . . .)
I love the concept for these books. What fun!

I think luck is more of how you look at things. Being an optimist or a pessamist and wether you have God in your life.

I do believe in luck! I also firmly believe that everything
happens for a reason we just might not know why at the time!!
