I'm thankful for living in the country. It's given my Husband and I a new chance to connect with each other, as well as a new way of living. We also wanted to do this for so many years, and now that we've been here for a few, we'd never go back to the city!! We both love it too much out here.
Yarn - It's my way of escape, and to make my friends and family happy - not to mention me, on occasion!! I love to knit and crochet, and I've made so many things for friends and family members, not all of them for happy occasions, but just to letthem know I care. There's so many more types of fibers out there, then there were when I first started to knit a long time ago.
The internet - this has been a wealth of information for me, not just for patterns I have found, but to watch how they do new stitches that I'm not familiar with. I've also been able to seek out information in general that I might not have been able to get, or would have run myself ragged in libraries for. Have you ever looked for information in a country library?? No offense to them, because they do the best they can.
Books - my means of escape!! I've been reading since the age of 3, so for me to not have a book would be a crime!! I have so many to read right now, and have to put time aside every day, in order to get a few chapters (at least) read every day. If we go out for a drive any where, my book comes along, because I know I'll be good for a few pages. I also read just about all genres, too, so you can imagine the size of my library!!
Authors - I'm thankful for wonderful Authors like you, who write great books, have a sense of humor, have fur babies, like I do, and love to knit!! Your latest book sounds really good, and I'm looking forward to reading it. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!! (Peggy Roberson 7:43am November 18, 2015)
