Re: The Alchemy of Desire (7:28pm April 25, 2011):

I think the nice guys should win too! For the long haul, a nice guy is what you want.

Re: Storm Of Reckoning (7:13pm February 19, 2011):

Are we allowed to lick the cover of the book? Only kidding! THe story sounds great. I love books with a little fantasy in the fiction.

Re: Call Me Irresistible (7:09pm February 19, 2011):

Ted Beaudine - I love your books. The messes your girls get into on the way to romance are great!

Re: A Tiger In The Kitchen (6:58pm February 19, 2011):

Pineapple tarts. No small undertaking.

Re: The Attenbury Emeralds (6:54pm February 19, 2011):

Harriet Vane
What a clever idea, but as a writer such big shoes to fill.

Miranda and Charlie and the Great Cupcake Caper

My son-in-law has Cerebral Palsy, and it has been such a learning experience for me. He deals with so much. ONe of the problems is he is viewed as "suspicious looking" in airports, due to his eye, limp, etc. He is ALWAYS searched. It makes me so mad!

Re: An Amish Christmas (6:37pm November 28, 2010):

The Amish family is the Lutzs.

Re: Todos Santos (5:56pm August 29, 2010):

Isaac is Catherine's son. I also had the experience of finding out my marriage wasn't what I thought. The experience can really set you adrift.

Re: The Making Of A Duchess (12:05pm June 2, 2010):

I love this kind of book. don't you think a lot of ladies of that period were bored to tears by living a "proper" life? Or maybe their corsets cut off enough air to their brains that they didn't notice.

Re: Demonkeepers (7:41pm April 14, 2010):

Oh, and the covers are so HOT

Re: Demonkeepers (7:41pm April 14, 2010):

This sounds minor, but I like when a series has something in the titles that make it obvious it is part of a group, like Keeper in these.

Re: Finger Lickin' Fifteen (6:39pm October 18, 2009):

I am more into writers developing the characters then spending a lot of time on the physicals surrounding, but I do like enough description to get a "feel" for it.

Re: The Cowboy From Christmas Past (2:24pm September 6, 2009):

I loved the story about your pets. James Herriot was also a favorite of mine. He had one day a week (or month??) he would sign books at his clinic. People would come and sit and wait all day to meet him. Even after his books were famous, he was still primarily a vet.

Re: The Cowboy From Christmas Past (4:26pm August 30, 2009):

I canceled my TV service because I didn't watch it enough to justify the cost. I would much rather read. I have very poor vision, but get good results with glasses. I cannot imagine how rough it would be for an avid reader to lose their vision. What a sad story.

Re: Dragons Prefer Blondes (4:14pm August 30, 2009):

I like interviews where the interviewer is able to make it seem like the two are just talking, like friends over lunch.

Re: Red Hot Lies (4:12pm August 30, 2009):

I but think all books are First person only works for me if it is a character I can identify with, but in most cases I can if the book is well written.
