Re: Born Wild (7:31pm November 2, 2013):

Every woman wants a bad boy motorcycle rider who is really a real good man.

Re: Sink or Swim (8:47pm March 25, 2011):

Seems like I have a lot in common with the posts so far, I read more than watch TV and only watch a few "Reality" type shows. The problem with most that I've seen is that the reality character isn't all that real. The more outrageous the character or their actions, the higher their ratings go. Being categorized as reality instead of fiction, some people actually believe what's happening is real, that the type of behavior exhibited is acceptable and that they can be like that also (mostly selfish, obnoxious, manipulative, etc). My Grandmother liked to watch wrestling shows in the 60's and 70's, she thought that was real too. A character who is more of a normal person with a normal lifestyle who likes to compete would be a refreshing change from all the hype pretending to be real. Looking forward to reading your book.

Re: The Winter Sea (4:52pm December 20, 2010):

Of course research is the basis of any written work but it takes a person of imagination to present that information in an entertaining way. Making the characters come alive and making the readers feel a connection with them is even more important. It takes a really talented person to combine all of that. Your book sound like one I will pick up to read and find hard to put down.

Re: Seducing The Duchess (7:32pm October 6, 2010):

Congratulations on the release! Seems we share tastes on several points. Jude Deveraux, yes, Gone With The Wind: Scarlett, yes, been reading romance novels since about 12 or 13 years old, yes! I would love to be able to write also, doesn't everyone who reads romance wish they could be an author too. I get teased occasionally, asked if I'm reading another trashy romance book and I just smile and say ABSOLUTELY, the hotter the better.

Re: Wicked Highlander (5:38pm September 15, 2010):

Highlander is one of my favorite movies also. Being from the Southern Highlands/Appalachain mountains we still celebrate our Scotish/Irish/Welsh heritage and the language of the area still has a bit of a lilt of the old languages. Sounds like going home sometimes to read and hear a Celtic accent.

Re: Monster in Miniature (5:58pm July 30, 2010):

If you read only one or two types of books, is it like eating the same food everyday also? And who gets to decide what category a book is shelved under? I want to be that person! I read just about everything, depentant on my mood at the time and sometimes one book will lead me to another by a different author and genre. Mostly, I look at the other works of the author and if I like their work I will usually try another by them. My main concerns are how sexy is the hero and how SMOKIN' are the love scenes?

Re: Moonshine (6:00pm July 20, 2010):

Your remarks about the sidekick are right on target. The female friends help keep us centered as a person and are not afraid to give us advice even if it's not exactly what we want to hear at the time (like yes you are having a bad hair day and why are you wearing that it makes your butt look fat). I think men (or a lot of them anyway) expect women to be catty to each other because they just don't get the concept of best friends who commit to a friendship as deeply as most women do and this does seem to be missing from a lot of the romance novels I read. So add your sidekick and add some humor to just about any situation.
