We get to see Paige's struggle to live independently, even as her brother tries to smother her with his protectiveness. Even sweeter, however, is Jake's background and his warm relationship with his adoptive mother. I cried as the reason he avoids love is revealed. However, I must admit that while I really liked Paige, I have a soft spot for the prickly Frankie and can't wait to see her get her own happily-ever-after.

SLEEPLESS IN MANHATTAN is the first book in Sarah Morgan's From Manhattan with Love series and oh, what a beautiful start it is! I absolutely love the strength and determination of Paige, Eva, and Frankie as they deal with heartaches and disappointments through their friendship, honesty, and hard work. Sarah Morgan is a master at crafting beautiful tales that encapsulate the loves and dreams of the characters and SLEEPLESS IN MANHATTAN is a prime example of her talent. SLEEPLESS IN MANHATTAN is absolutely magical and I'm still smiling now, just thinking about the beautiful ending for Paige and Jake's happily-ever-after.
