Navy SEAL Jackson "Texas" Ramsey has seen all his teammates
find the loves of their lives and begin to settle down and
he finds he's jealous. He wants what they have. He's even
tried a few blind dates that were ridiculously bad. When he
happens upon a beauty that rebuffs him when he asks for a
date, he turns up the heat... until it is AS HOT AS IT GETS.
It's not that Mia Weldrick didn't find the guy gorgeous
with his tall, muscle build and his sweet southern drawl
damn near irresistible, she just doesn't have time for any
man. She is working a lot and trying to raise her teenage
brother and well ...to be honest dating and sex just were
never high priorities for her. They were boring. The last
thing she expects is one determined Seal to completely
change her mind.
As the no strings attached "fling" moves on she is starting
to feel things she never expected and is not sure she can
handle. She has to decide if she should dive in or run.
AS HOT AS IT GETS is just that ... HOT! The romance between
Jackson and Mia starts out with a persistence that cannot
be denied though she certainly tries. Very quickly the
reader will learn all about what makes them both tick,
their secrets and their desires. Note of warning for faint
of heart ... Jackson is a wicked lover with more than a
touch
of dominance and kink in him for all his southern charm,
but Mia is right there with him every step of the way.
Aside from that readers will find this a very good read
that will not let you put it down. It makes you believe
that there is someone out there for everyone ... just takes
determination and guts to find that perfect match. I am a
sucker for SEAL teams and the camaraderie that feels like
family and I found that with this book. If you have not
read author Elle Kennedy's Out of Uniform series you
will
want to grab them all, sit back and enjoy.
