Romance Anthology | Holiday

In Mister Christmas by Fern Michaels, attorney Claire O'Brien finds herself unexpectedly flying to Ireland a week before Christmas to deal with a wealthy, older client whose supposedly failing health requires a change in his will. What she finds is something else entirely, especially when the man's irresistible nephew, Quinn Connor, enters the picture.

Marie Bostwick's The Yellow Rose of Christmas finds Velvet Tudmore doubting she has a secret admirer, even though he's pledged to reveal his identity at the annual Christmas dance. Velvet gave up on love a long time ago; could she have been given a second chance?

Interviewing for a writing job at a high-end mall, Jaine Austen instead ends up employed as one of Santa's elves in Nightmare on Elf Street by Laura Levine. Jaine finds there are two Santas to work with: one is cuddly and sweet, the other is a nasty drunk. When the nasty Santa is murdered while Jaine is close by, she becomes a prime suspect. Being an amateur sleuth, Jaine feels obligated to find the real killer before all her Christmas cheer vanishes.

In Room at the Inn by Cindy Myers, Barb and her husband, Jimmy, along with other travelers, find themselves stuck in an isolated cabin during a fierce snowstorm. Coping with the situation stretches nerves, but when Jimmy divulges to Barb some unsettling news, it has deep repercussions for them both. How will she handle Jimmy and the changes in her life?

These four novellas each have a unique element setting it apart from the others. Whether it's murder, chaos, a clash of personalities or examining lives that are about to change, the Christmas spirit flourishes with romance, laughter and understanding. SECRET SANTA is a delightful assortment of Christmas short stories filled with everything one expects from the season.
