Inspirational Romance
Piper Hunt arrives on Wildflower Island to develop family property into an upscale resort knowing this may be her last chance to prove her worth to her father. With grandiose ideas, she soon finds herself at odds with adjoining property owner, Chase Grayson. As she begins to appreciate the simplicity of the island, she struggles to maintain balance between her father’s wishes, preserving the natural beauty of the island, and her attraction for Chase. Chase Grayson values the peace and quiet of Wildflower Island. That serenity is threatened when Piper Hunt discloses her plans to develop an upscale resort that not only butts up to his property, but will turn the island into a busy tourist destination. In fighting her plans, he also finds himself fighting his attraction to her. If he doesn’t stop her plans for the resort, his life will be altered forever. If he succeeds, it means he will never see her again. Can he live with either choice?

Re: Island Dreams
My favorite island hideaway is definitely Galveston Island, TX. The history is very rich and there are many things to see and do. I do not get to visit often, but when I do, I always have a wonderful time. (Alice Hunter 12:50pm August 14, 2015)
Many years ago, Salt Spring Island was my getaway. It is now a trendy, with it place, just the kind of place I avoid like the plague. I sympathize with Chase a great deal. The premise resonates with me. (Kathleen Bylsma 12:54pm August 14, 2015)
I have not travelled much... visited some islands in the Caribbean during a cruise years ago. (Colleen Conklin 1:14pm August 14, 2015)
Busy/crowded places are not my favorite either, Kathleen. In fact when we travel to typically crowded places I generally get up early and enjoy things without the crowds. :) lol The only downside is that just about the only places open are restaurants and Starbucks.:) (Kimberly Rose Johnson 1:21pm August 14, 2015)
I haven't been to either Galveston or the Caribbean. I imagine they are both beautiful places to visit though! :) (Kimberly Rose Johnson 1:23pm August 14, 2015)
I have never been to an island to have a favorite. I would love to go to Hawaii one day. (Robbie Bauldree 1:31pm August 14, 2015)
Hawaii (Emily Stemp 1:55pm August 14, 2015)
Robbie, Hawaii is a great idea! I went there once 24 years ago. I think if I ever go back I'd visit one of the lesser crowded islands though. There were way too many people in Waikiki, but we also visited Maui and loved it there. :) (Kimberly Rose Johnson 2:14pm August 14, 2015)
The only island I've been to was Sauvie Island, when I was a child. It is part of the great Portland, Oregon area..it was a quiet and pretty spot in the Columbia River, we'd have a picnic, wade and stop at a farm for fruit and veggies. It is about 25,000 acres. I've always wanted to visit the San Juans and Gulf Islands.. (Chris Ann Foster 3:16pm August 14, 2015)
My friend's cabin is on an island in the Winnipeg River in Ontario. It has a gorgeous beach! (Lindsey Andronak 3:29pm August 14, 2015)
Hi, Chris. I'm familiar with Sauvie Island, but I've never been there. The San Juans are beautiful! I've never actually been on one, but I saw a couple from the ferry on my way to Canada. :) (Kimberly Rose Johnson 4:23pm August 14, 2015)
It sounds nice, Lindsey! (Kimberly Rose Johnson 4:23pm August 14, 2015)
My favorite island hideaway is definitely Mackinac Island in Michigan. It's a quaint, relaxing place that takes you away from the stresses of everyday life. Cars are not allowed on the island. You either ride a bike, walk, or take a horse and buggy. The shops are cute, the restaurants are really good, the hotels/B&B's are charming, and the history is interesting. Centre Island near Toronto, Canada (Marissa Yip-Young 5:15pm August 14, 2015)

I've never been to an island, would love to do this, though. (Mary Smith 6:49pm August 14, 2015)
I'm not the island type but, with my son-in-law currently stationed in Hawaii, I'd love to see my daughter and granddaughter. (And my son-in-law.) (Judy Gregory 8:23am August 15, 2015)

I don't know that I have a favorite island hideaway, but we visited Prince Edward Island in Canada several years ago and I really liked the attitude of the residents. They seemed to really appreciate their community. (Flora Presley 6:11am August 16, 2015)
I enjoy the Outer Banks of North Carolina (Debra Guyette 8:37am August 16, 2015)
Magens Bay in St. Thomas is one of the nicest and the beaches in Aruba are fine sand and the water is clear. For history, I think Sicily. Loved the tour. (Leona Olson 10:36am August 16, 2015)
