Quinn writes classic Regency romance at its best! -Shana Galen Ella Quinn's intriguing and irresistible bachelors are masters in the game of seduction. But nothing has the power to change a single man's mind like a captivating woman... William, Viscount Wivenly, plans to remain the most eligible of bachelors. He refuses to surrender to the schemes of husband-hunting ladies and matchmaking mamas. Fleeing the pressure of the ton, he's bent on finding refuge in the West Indies. What he finds instead is a fascinating stranger, a woman so unlike those of his society that he can't resist such a beguiling distraction... Determined to let nothing complicate her mission to protect her family's livelihood while covertly rescuing orphaned slave children, Miss Eugénie Villaret does her best to evade suitors. But when dashing William lures her down a path of forbidden adventure and delicious danger, she may be convinced that business can indeed be mixed with pleasure-and persuaded to add passion to her priorities...
So exciting to see a Regency set in an exotic locale like St. Thomas! Hope to visit one day!! (Julia Tagan 9:27am August 13, 2014)
I believe that everyone gets a "gut feeling," myself included. Mine have been pretty accurate, although I can usually sense when something bad is going to happen. As for your book, it's something that I'm truly looking forward to reading this Fall!! The cover took my breath away, and any Lady wearing a purple gown scores extra points in my book!! Congratulations on what I'm sure will be a big hit!! Not everyone can write a Romance story taking place in St. Thomas!! I can picture myself with my toes in the sand as we speak!! Hi Ella! I just wanted to let you know how much I've enjoyed reading all the books(so far) in The Marriage Game series and how excited I am that Amazon already has Madline's Christmas List available for pre-order! October can't come soon enough!
I hadto let you know that I got a kick out of Enticing Miss Eugenie Villaret because my father (whose name is Eugene) wanted that to be my name (I was suppose to be a boy and named after him!). Fortunately my mother prevailed and I ended up being Jeanne instead!
Keep writing and we'll keep reading! (Jeanne Miro 9:55am August 13, 2014)
Thank you, Julia! It was fun setting it there! (Ella Quinn 1:53pm August 14, 2014)
Hi Peggy, I'm so glad you plan to read it!! As to the big hit, from our lips to God's ears! (Ella Quinn 1:54pm August 14, 2014)
I suppose they wouldn't have pronounced it the French way, so I can understand why you'd prefer Jeanne. Thank you for coming by. (Ella Quinn 1:55pm August 14, 2014)
