Harley Diekerhoff’s enjoying her temporary job as
housekeeper at Copper Mountain Ranch. Widower Brock Sheenan
certainly needs someone to take care of his place, and it’s
perfect for her in her situation: her husband and kids are
long gone in a plane crash and she’s just wanting to keep
herself to herself.
But Harley’s calm is shattered by the return for the
Holidays of Brock’s pre-teen twins. Molly and Mack have
never experienced a proper Christmas and, before she knows
it, she’s set about giving them one. Brock is annoyed by
Harley’s interference, though secretly he has to admit that
she’s changed his kids’ world—and he finds her incredibly
attractive: fierce, smart and passionate, she’s not afraid
to challenge him.
When sparks begin to fly between them, Harley resolves she
will leave Copper Mountain in early January, like she always
intended: how can she handle this dark, taciturn Montana
cowboy who doesn’t know how to open up, share or love,
except in bed? But Brock doesn’t want her to go and he’s
hoping for a Christmas miracle…
