Mystery | Holiday | Mystery Woman Sleuth

Cleo Coyle writes "a foodie's delight...and a satisfyingly rich mystery" (Kirkus), and now the national bestselling author of A BREW TO A KILL serves up a yuletide treat in her new Coffeehouse Mystery HOLIDAY BUZZ.

Includes holiday and cookie recipes!

Holiday time is party time in New York City, but after a sparkling winter bash ends with a murder, Village Blend coffeehouse manager Clare Cosi vows to put the killer on ice...

At the Great New York Cookie Swap, pastry chefs bake up their very best for charity. Clare is in charge of the beverage service, and her famous Fa–la–la–la Lattes make the gathering even merrier. But her high spirits come crashing down to earth when she discovers the battered body of a hard–working baker's assistant.

Police suspect a serial attacker whose escalating crimes have become known as "The Christmas Stalkings." Clare's boyfriend, NYPD detective Mike Quinn, finds reason to believe even more sinister forces are involved. Clare isn't so sure, until she finds a second bludgeoned baker and becomes a target herself.

Now Clare must investigate "Saint Nick," crash a pro–hockey party, and dodge a pair of reality TV divas—because she's not going to rest until justice is served.

My all-time favorite cozy mystery series. With the latest book in hand, I can "smell" the coffee and "taste" the baked goods as I read. I love the mystery and also the underlying thread of characters woven throughout the stories and how they interact and grow. Please don't stop writing this wonderful series....

There is nothing better than to make a decadent cup of coffee and curl up with a kitty and a Cleo Coyle mystery. Oh, to enjoy Clare and her daughter Joy's adventures - never mind her divine mother-in-law!

This series are a good read. Fun and interesting. I have "learned" a lot about coffee - and NY - and the character development is well done. I look forward to the next book because someone I know from the last one will be featured. I have Holiday Buzz on the Kindle and it is next on my list! THanks.

I am happy to know that there is someone else that LOVES coffee as much as I do. I am jealous of the quality coffees available to the New York area. I hope to one day visit and live a caffienated dream! With three young kids, not for a while. I would love a new mug to carry to the hockey arenas and soccer fields! Please consider my comment for your contest! Thank you for your wonderful stories and recipes! If I could drink the book, I would!

My son and I have agreed to split the prize if we win. I love
mysteries and he wants to be a cop. Of course, since he's only
9 I think he'll be filling the cup with hot chocolate.

The four C's in one - Christmas, crime, coffee and Clare! How much more perfect a combo can you get?! It's always great to combine my love for coffee with my love for crime novels and Ms. Coyle nails it every time.
