โYeah,โ he said, straightening his tie. โItโll look worse if we donโt.โ He gave her a sheepish grin. โThanks for being a sport.โ
At the door, Mark rang the bell, then smiled at her as they waited. โIโll have to admit, the garter belt was a nice surprise.โ He rocked back on his heels, the picture of confidence again.
