Can they forgive the past and become who they need to be to have a future?
I am a little behind in reading Gibson's hockey series, and after reading this one definitely plan to go back and play catch-up. I don't know how much, if any, of Sam and Autumn's story was introduced in previous books. I didn't feel like I was missing anything, since Gibson uses several flashbacks to fill the reader in what happened in Vegas. Gibson successfully captures the strong chemistry between Sam and Autumn. The plot, which primarily involves them reconnecting as they learn about themselves and each other, is intriguing and tugged at my heart. Gibson cleverly starts each chapter with a requirement for the perfect man that gives a clue about what's to come. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and think you will too. Gibson has scored another “hat trick†with ANY MAN OF MINE. This sixth book in her Chinooks Hockey Series is just as delightful as the others have been. Sam LeClaire was introduced as a sideline character in one of the earlier books in this series, and his story is now featured in this one. Autumn Haven and Sam had a quick fling in Vegas and now circumstances have brought them back to examine that relationship and their attraction to each other once again. Gibson has done the reunited lovers theme quite well. This is another whimsical, sexy contemporary romance you will certainly enjoy. I agree with Maria that you don’t need to read the other books in this series to understand and enjoy this one, but they are all lots of fun and great reading!
