Romance

Mixing business with pleasure never felt so right.

Blake Buchanan and Anastasia Delaney were roommates in college and could never see eye to eye about anything. The only time their walls came down was during one night of passion before Ana left without a word, never expecting to cross paths with Blake again.

Years later, Blake has made his millions. He comes back to Ana’s small California town to manage a corporate takeover that will close down the home restoration business she’s poured her heart and soul into. The fiery Ana is determined to convince money-minded Blake of her business’s worth, but when a family emergency throws them together, their walls come tumbling down once again…

Problem is, Blake’s business-first position hasn’t changed. And Ana can’t fall for the man who could become her boss—it’s not only her job at stake, but her heart.

Re: Tangling with the CEO

Great post, Annie. I have to say I prefer the sexy romances, especially ones set in
exotic locations. Congrats on the new release!!!
(Jennifer St George 3:11am December 10, 2013)

I prefer sweet, but read both. Best wishes with this new release, Annie.

Sherry Gloag 3:14am December 10, 2013)

I am an in between, like them both. Depends on my mood.
(
Shari Bartholomew 3:21am December 10, 2013)

I feel like to have good a great book you need a balanced mix of both. It fills the reader's needs and keeps their attention
(
Brandi Gillilan 3:30am December 10, 2013)

Thanks gals... it is all about balance, isn't it.
(
Annie Seaton 3:33am December 10, 2013)

I actually prefer a mix of both...depending on my day. Thank you for writing great stories.
(
C Culp 6:07am December 10, 2013)

I like all romances - sweet , sexy or in between. One of them will suit my mood.
(
Debra Guyette 6:39am December 10, 2013)

I like them both.... depends on my mood and how I'm spending my night, lol
(
Renita McKinney McKinney 7:07am December 10, 2013)

I like them both. Depends on my mood and the story that goes with it.
(
Bette Hansen 7:44am December 10, 2013)

I like to read both, together or separately, although I lean
more toward sexy. I've got to be in the right mood to read
sweet... ;)
(
Diana Huffer 8:17am December 10, 2013)

I think I'd pick somewhere in between. This book is now on my list!!!! Thanks
(
Bonnie Capuano 8:29am December 10, 2013)

Lately I've been reading books that are more on the sweet side, or more in between. Some of the sexy books that I've been reading lately have been more on the raunchy side than sexy, and that's been a bit of a turn off for me. They haven't been on the tasteful side. Anyway, the sweet side could have to do with either my mood, or the time of the season. Your book sounds like the perfect addition for my reading collection for this time of year. I need a few good books to hunker down with in this cold, snowy weather up North, and your book will definately fit the bill. Have a wonderful Christmas and a great New Year!!
(
Peggy Roberson 8:30am December 10, 2013)

I like the sweet love and not over sexy in my books. I also
like a feisty woman and this sounds like Ana is.
Appreciate the giveaway.
(
Leona Olson 9:17am December 10, 2013)

(
Richard Proctor 9:56am December 10, 2013)

(

(
Melissa Romine 10:26am December 10, 2013)

Well it'll be great if I can have best of both worlds :) I've not read any of your
books but you bet I'll be checking it out. Thanks for the excerpt. Definitely
interesting.
(
Jeannie Lim 10:45am December 10, 2013)

I like to read both. I need to mix it up a bit so I don't get
into a reading rut.
(
Karin Anderson 10:49am December 10, 2013)

Sexy definately, guess it is fun to fantasize.
(
Deana Connelly 11:03am December 10, 2013)

I enjoy both sweet and sexy books...
(
Colleen Conklin 11:57am December 10, 2013)

Funny, I think a sweet romance is more sexy than a sexy romance. It leaves much more to look forward to--off stage!
(
Eileen Dandashi 11:59am December 10, 2013)

I like to read both but I am voting for sexy :)
(
Trisha Hudson 12:47pm December 10, 2013)

I like them both, depending on my mood. Though the sweet ones
have the bonus that I can share with my teenaged daughter--if
I feel like sharing, that is ;)
(
Becky Moe 1:15pm December 10, 2013)

I like to read all types. Depends the mood I am in.
(
Sue Galuska 1:28pm December 10, 2013)

I can go either way as long as there are good characters in the book.
(
Laura Gullickson 1:55pm December 10, 2013)

Depends on my mood. Just like some days I want kids, then no kids,
cowboys, etc.
(
Michelle Schafer 2:25pm December 10, 2013)

Depends on my mood that day. Maybe both and a little bit Sassy too!
(
Carolyn Rhodes 6:49pm December 10, 2013)

I love both, but maybe sweet a little more :)
(
Dawn Wilson 7:50pm December 10, 2013)

Sassy mouth, sweet demeanor. That's me. Now if we ask my husband....
(
Marcia Berbeza 9:41pm December 10, 2013)

I like both. Sometimes together. Sometimes separate.
(
Glenda Martillotti 11:08pm December 10, 2013)

Def somewhere in between. However I have my days when sweet just is
what I need to escape the harsh realities of life!
(
Vicki Hancock 11:52pm December 10, 2013)

Both - If the story is good I'll read it.
(
Marcy Shuler 12:04pm December 11, 2013)

I like somewhere in between....
(
Sandie White 12:23pm December 11, 2013)

What I prefer to read? Somewhere in between with a little suspense or paranormal thrown in doesn't hurt... I have found that as I've aged, I don't need the details of the "lovemaking" - some have become a little too "graphic or detailed" and I've found that I will skip some of that to get more into the rest of the story - providing that there is more to the story than that. Have a great and safe Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
(
A.I. Lehl 3:41am December 11, 2013)

I loved Tangling with the CEO! AND I'm looking forward to
reading more of your books!
(
Linda Townsend 6:30am December 11, 2013)

Oh... and a bit of both... I'm sorry I didn't answer your
question!
(
Linda Townsend 6:31am December 11, 2013)

i like both sweet and sexy
(
Denise Smith 8:24am December 11, 2013)

I like the idea of sweet - and after the two have actually connected emotionally - let the sex fall into place. Thank you for the contest - and have a lovely Christmas and a joyful 2014.
(
Annette Naish 10:05am December 11, 2013)

Love the title!
(
Richard Proctor 10:09am December 11, 2013)

I enjoy both
(
Rita Wray 10:18am December 11, 2013)

I love sweet, with lots of sexy!
(
Maria Proctor 10:32am December 11, 2013)

Yes, I love both sweet and sexy for sure. Congrats on your
new book: HOLIDAY AFFAIR. I like the book cover too! Happy
Holidays and Thank You very much. Cecilia CECE
(
Cecilia Dunbar Hernandez 11:31am December 11, 2013)

I like to read it all. Depends on the mood I'm in.
(
Sue Galuska 11:34am December 11, 2013)

(
Dianne McVetty 12:24pm December 11, 2013)

I like both, separate or together.
(
Susan Falkler 12:26pm December 11, 2013)

I love right in between! A little of each. Add a little naughty in there too! HA
(
Bonnie Capuano 1:32pm December 11, 2013)

I like reading something in between. I little of each usually makes a perfect book for me.
(
Victoria Kondovski 3:28pm December 11, 2013)

I am an avid reader and i enjoy all kinds of stories. Don't have a favorite kind,
however, i find myself reading more contemporary stories.
I am like you-I love the scene on the beach with Lancaster and Kerr in From Here
to Eternity. It is sooo sexy.
Your book sounds really good and would enjoy reading it.
(
Joy Isley 3:37pm December 11, 2013)

I prefer sweet with a little bit of sexy in my books.
(
Carol Woodruff 6:44pm December 11, 2013)

Good characters are all that matter. I have to be able to understand the character or I won't keep reading the book. I could go either way otherwise.
(
Laura Gullickson 8:03pm December 11, 2013)

I am reading more variety of authors not that I have my Kindle
than when I was just reading from paperback. I am finding all
kinds of authors that I really had not given a try to be very
good and keeps my attention as well as finding that I am
enjoying the books. Tina Ullrich
(
Tina Ullrich 8:43pm December 11, 2013)

I have my preference depending on my mood. I love them sweet and sexy and with a bit in between.
(
Kai Wong 12:18pm December 12, 2013)

It depends upon what I feel like reading actually.
(
Mary Preston 9:30pm December 12, 2013)
