Bestselling author Liam Wyndham needed an escape, and Half
Moon Bay, with its small town charm and beautiful ocean, is
the perfect place to hide out from the scandal surrounding
his estranged dead wife. A place where he can enjoy his
writer's block in sweet isolation. But all of his plans to
become a surly recluse disappear when carpenter Georgie
Sacchi marches into his house…
Georgie wants an adventure, and she has a plane ticket that
promises her everything she needs—excitement, independence,
and a way to escape the memory of her last ruined
relationship. Still, she has one last job to complete before
she can leave the country. The last thing she needs is a
recalcitrant author with a gorgeous face (and a hot body)
distracting her from her plans.
But life doesn't always give you what you think you need…
I like both but always with a touch of the area. I like to feel I have been there or returned. (Leona Olson 9:20am March 22, 2015)
I actually prefer the everyday, small town romance, because to me, it feels comfortable. It's like a glove, and you're reading something you're familiar with - a comfort zone. To read about billionaires doesn't interest me. I could care less how they live, and what they do. I'm sure they have conflict in their lives like everyone else, and so be it, but it doesn't interest me. I prefer the everyday life any day, and that type of romance in a small town makes me want to cozy up in my favorite spot and get lost in the pages of a book for a few hours. Your latest book sounds like just the ticket!! Congratulations on your latest book, which should do very well!! (Peggy Roberson 10:53am March 22, 2015)
I enjoy reading both. Reading about billionaires, is something you always fantasized about. Reading about ordinary people with ordinary jobs, is more the norm, of what really happens, so I can relate, esp., in a small town. But it's always nice to get away and fantasize now and then :-) (Jan Capstick 3:12am March 23, 2015)
