Re: The Perfect Couple (4:25pm August 9, 2009):

I have not read any of these authors but is sad that their contracts will not be renewed. I hope they can a new publisher, so their fans can keep getting new books by them.

Re: The Guernsey Literary And Potato Peel Pie Society (10:40am July 5, 2009):

For me Memoirs of a Geshia and The Poisonwood Bible. The were ok, but they did not speak to me as they did to others.

Re: The Secret Life of Bees (11:28am February 8, 2009):

I usually find that books are better then the movies. If I read a book I try not to see the movie because I don't want to be disappointed.

Sometimes, I will watch a movie and I will read the book that it comes from. That is what I did with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. I saw the movie which I loved and then I read the book which I loved.

Then are times I watched a movie and I don't want to read the book because the movie is so awesome to me, I am afraid that the book will take something away from the movie. For example Gone with the Wind and Pride and Prejudice(the BBC version) I just love those movies.

Re: Smoke Screen (11:36am January 11, 2009):

I am the backlist queen. When I discover a new to me author, I try to visit their website and get a list of all their books. I will then either order them from the library or hunt them down.
I love visiting UBS, Library Sales, and my local Salvation Army. I usually will find some books from the authors I am trying to collect.
