Re: 50 Ways to Ruin a Rake (4:14pm July 6, 2015):

You all understand! We collect so much stuff and then we
forget it about it. I tried to tell myself my kids would
want this stuff. HAH! They've got more stuff than they
need too. And for those who'd rather read than clean -- I
so get you! My friend suggested we start up cleaning
again. I said...uh...not right now. I'd rather hang out
and listen to audio tapes...

Re: The Makeover Mistake (9:31pm March 6, 2015):

Peggy--as I'm going on 32 years with my husband, I know what you mean
about separate hobbies and doing different things in the same room. It's
nice when you can parallel play, isn't it? Hope you like Kathy's new book.
And thanks for sharing!

Re: Two Week Seduction (12:45pm January 6, 2015):

Sorry to confuse everyone! That picture was NOT my house. My backyard
is fine right now, though it is covered in snow. It was just a picture pulled
from the Internet. And good ideas on books, chocolate, and coffee!

Re: Two Week Seduction (2:34pm August 10, 2014):

As soon as I find someone who took a picture of me in my
dress, I'll show everyone. But as of now...it only appears in
my memory!

Re: Wedded In Scandal (10:13am June 6, 2014):

Actually, we tease my daughter about picking U of M colors,
but the truth is that the groom is red/green color blind. So
he can only see blue and yellow. That's the real reason behind
the choice, but we still always say... GO BLUE!

Re: Wedded In Scandal (12:15pm June 5, 2014):

The wedding colors are blue and pale yellow. (they're U of
Mich students). So...the dark blue gown I picked (#4) works
with the wedding party. I had no idea that MOB usually wears
pink and MOG wears blue!

Re: What The Groom Wants (11:56am May 5, 2014):

You gals make me smile all over!!! :)

Re: What The Groom Wants (9:38am February 13, 2014):

Okay...here's the answer! Answer: D. All the choices are
good scenes, but option A is a necessary one between Wendy
and Radley. It’s all part of the love story, so it doesn’t
qualify. B is great, but I’d planned for it. Spent some
gleeful moments blocking it out. C. Was a surprise because
it ended up being so creepy. Yes, I needed the threat so
again, it was a planned scene, but the creepy was really
inspired. ::shudder:: So that leaves us D which was touching
and surprising especially because I hadn’t planned for any
part of that scene.

Re: What The Groom Wants (11:24pm February 6, 2014):

Very funny everyone! (I especially love 68!) Keep 'em coming!

Re: What the Bride Wore (11:03am November 5, 2013):

OMG, I'm doomed...

Re: One Night in the Spa (11:40am October 9, 2013):

Am resting now and thanks to ibuprophen, am no longer in pain.
Except when I step wrong, so I'm sitting on a couch and
internet surfing. Life is...yup...it's good!

Re: One Night in the Spa (5:03pm October 7, 2013):

I had a great time. Sadly, my knees went out on the second to
last match. I had to withdraw. I'm just not physically able to
play at the level anymore. Spent a night crying, then got up
and started a new book. Door closed. Another opened. All in
all...it's okay.

Re: What the Bride Wore (4:02pm August 6, 2013):

We're working hard at our retreat. We made it here only 2
hours late because of 3 accidental detours. Check on line (my
facebook page or twitter) for pictures of what we've been
doing!

Re: Winning a Bride (11:38am July 7, 2013):

To everyone who just said -- write the story and let it end
where it will end--I say thank you! And thank God for e-
books. Publishers don't care nearly as much about the size of
an e-book as they do a print book. Paper is expensive! So
yeah for all of us who read in e!

Re: Winning a Bride (4:09pm July 5, 2013):

Okay, so everyone loves novellas. Or at least most everyone.
So I'm either going to have to learn to write shorter or just
accept that I'll do LOOOONNNNNGGGG novellas. But I still say
it's Sara's fault!

Re: Dream Nights with the CEO (11:19pm June 5, 2013):

Wow! We're all busy people, aren't we?! Keep the stories
coming! I love reading about other people's lives

Re: Wedded In Scandal (11:07pm April 3, 2012):

@Peggy -- I look young in my photo thanks to the magic of trick photography! Trust me, I'm old enough to have 2 kids in college!

Re: Wedded In Scandal (9:13pm April 3, 2012):

Kids are a treasure. And a nightmare. and a wonder. And a zillion other marvelous adjectives!

Re: Wedded In Scandal (5:45pm April 3, 2012):

Wow everyone! I'm so glad I've got some fans here! Hopefully, I'll meet some of you this weekend at my launch event in Dallas. And in the meantime, I'm really enjoying reading everyone's comments. Keep them coming!

Re: Wedded In Scandal (9:58am April 3, 2012):

LOL Pam! There's 2 other Jade Lees too. one is a very lovely singer. The other is a very lovely porn star. That's why my website is Jade Lee AUTHOR dot com.

Re: Wedded In Scandal (9:56pm December 22, 2011):

Well I'm back from shopping with my daughters and I'm wiped! Glad you
all shared some of my favorite addictions too! I'm about to open a book
too! Hope you all managed to get a copy of Almost an Angel. Keep
commenting everyone. Free book available until Jan 7.

Re: Wedded In Scandal (10:05am December 22, 2011):

oh yeah, blogs and Stargate...all good things I do too! FB too, although I've turned it off today otherwise I'd never get to where I'm going today...REAL SHOPPING in an actual store! But I'll check in later. Keep the comments comming!

Re: Wicked Seduction (2:54pm March 3, 2011):

Thank you everyone! It's so nice to hear people like my books! btw, my
new hero Samuel says hello and would I please stop talking to you. He
was just getting to the good stuff... Seriously, he's actually one of my
more demanding heroes (and that's saying something). I keep trying to
make him more Richard Castle, but he's coming out more like Sherlock
Holmes. And he thinks Castle is a fool. But I LIKE Castle. But Samuel
really, really doesn't. How do I get into arguments with imaginary
people??????

Re: Wicked Seduction (8:16am March 3, 2011):

Sorry I didn't get on here yesterday. Got lost with my next hero. He's
gonna solve a murder and find love. But he's just so quirky I was having
so much fun with him I forgot all about this blog! See. It's a sickness!
But I can't seem to stop it so what the heck....I'll just enjoy it! Thank you
for not calling the men in white coats on me. Though yes...I probably
would end up writing more! And good advice on not letting my husband
get too jealous!

Re: Wicked Seduction (2:22pm January 12, 2011):

Wow, everyone! Glad to hear I'm not alone in my psychosis!
And that for those who have a more sane life, they can at
least reassure me that family still loves me even when I'm
nuts.

Sigrun--I once had a rib infection that kept me on my back
for 2 months. Sitting was hideous, standing okay, lying
down perfect. So I ended up pulling my computer onto the
floor with me and learned how to type on my stomach. Very
odd, but it worked for as long as I needed it to. But i can
sympathize. It's hard to work while lying down. I'm much
too prone to close my eyes then...

Re: Wicked Seduction (4:25pm January 11, 2011):

Oregon--my only advice is to keep telling him and telling
him it's okay. eventually, he'll start to believe you.

And yes, everyone, thank you for enjoying my particular
madness today! It was snowing today so I holed up and wrote
11 pages. I'm very proud of myself. And hubby will be too
since i"ll actually smile at him tonight!

Keep the comments coming! I love reading them!

Re: Wicked Seduction (12:15pm January 11, 2011):

Anthonia! You know what it takes to be a writer? You just
sit down and write. Being a writer is not dependent on
publication or approval or anything other than your
willingness to sit down and do it. So...just do it!

Re: Wicked Seduction (11:48am January 11, 2011):

I've been on happy pills. They help! But mostly, it's the
love and understanding of my family. As for Jeanne's to be
filed pile...I actually have TWO BOXES of stuff to be filed.
Plus two more piles. Erp. I like that it could be girl
thing (though actually, my husband is just as bad).

THanks for the kind words everyone. And keep those comments
coming!

Re: Dragonbound (8:06pm April 6, 2009):

So everyone is saying going with my passion. Well...okay. Right now my passion is to eat chocolate and watch tv. Probably not what you meant! Anyway...for the moment, historical regency. Then I'll probably just have to come back to Ragona. Pentold doesn't want to stay dead!

Re: Dragonbound (4:17pm April 6, 2009):

oooh...hints...well, there's this actress who isn't really an actress and a fiance who isn't really a fiance...

no, no, I'm teasing. Truthfully, it's a set-up you've seen before. Hero goes to seduce the heroine because idiot younger cousin is about to propose to an inappropriate woman. Except, the inappropriate woman is actually really hot, and really amazing, and hmmmm... wait...

you get the idea. it will have my signature HOT, SEXY scenes, but it'll also be deeper characterization, good world building, and really fun characters. I've learned something from my fantasy work, so I'm taking that world building skill into the Regency.

Enough of a teaser? Oh...current working title is Surrender to Me. I know, someone else has used it, but titles are hard to do!

Re: Dragonbound (1:56pm April 6, 2009):

You gals are all great!!! And to be honest...between writing this blog and today...I had the muse hit me upside the head. I've just sent out a regency-era romance. Straight historical. No paranormal, no fantasy, just really good historical romance. I love it! And so far, a few editors have too!

But never fear...I hear Pentold's story talking to me mroe and more. So devoted fans of fantasy...fear not. Pentold isn't REALLY dead!
