Re: Lady X's Cowboy (7:37pm October 8, 2012):

I had to keep my reading of romance series books secret when I was 13 yrs old. My older sister, who I looked up to, made fun of me for reading them. She said I should quit reading that trash and go out and live life. I felt so hurt. After this I read them in secret in my room or took them out on my bike and read them at a park so she thought I was out with friends. I was ashamed for yrs.
Now, many many yrs later, I have bkshelves of every genre of romance bks and every genre of fiction and my Kindle is packed with the same. I am proud to be a reader of anything.
Through the yrs I have learned that many people, both men and women, didn't grow up in a house with reading and have never read an entire book in their lives. They don't know how to relax enough to be able to take time to read for leisure. This makes me feel sad. The mind and imagination is so engaged while reading any book. These people have missed out on a vital piece of life.
I'm one of the biggest supporters of reading of all my friends and also people I meet out in public and start talking to.

Re: Against His Will (7:14pm October 8, 2012):

This book sounds really quirky and I love quirky unusual character books!

Re: Homefront Hero (4:13am April 25, 2012):

My favorite hero must be a protector of the wounded in heart without anyone asking him to be. The key of the hero must be that he was wounded in the past, so he wants to save others in pain.

I hope I win because I already have "Kiss at Your Own Risk". I am fascinated by your stories!

Thank you for writing! What a gift!

Re: Hot Zone (9:20pm December 1, 2011):

I'm so glad you already have all you want for Christmas with your family!

On my material wish list I have a 32" Vizio WIFI(to watch netflix on my tv instead of my laptop) LED LCD tv. I still have an old 20" big tv.
This is expensive for me, so I asked for cash or an Amazon gift certificates. The cash is so I can save up for the tv and amazon cert is to get some ebks for my kindle.
I feel selfish for even writing that.
I have bigger wishes like: peace and calm no tension no fights in my immediate family when we get together, a job for me, good health for my friends also peace and harmony in their marriages and wisdom in the US choosing our next president.

Re: Sleight Of Paw (8:53pm December 1, 2011):

I hope I look nothing like I do in pictures of me!
I'm usually squinting or have my eyes closed and my mouth wide open because someone made me laugh. I love to laugh. Buuuut not while someone is taking a picture!
It's a curse to laugh so easily while someone else is taking pictures!
Oh well, it could be worse...I could show up in all pictures looking angry. That was back when I was a child, a whole 'nother story for another time, so its fun and enjoyable to laugh easily today.

What makes a family? disfunction

Re: One Touch of Scandal (5:35pm September 26, 2010):

I give myself a couple hours with the book I'm reading at the time, Twizzler's black licorice sticks, and my cat Molly on my lap. My kitty I got from the Humane Society when no one else wanted her because she was so skinny and tiny, 8mths they figured, she fit in the palm of my hand. I had to have her because she wasn't evenly and prettily striped like the other cats. My baby was all green eyes and ears with half her nose orange to her forehead and the other half black. As she grew into her face more I think she's beautiful. She is now 7 1/2 lbs and 4 yrs almost 2 months old. I am single and have had no children, but Molly is my baby and she keeps me warm and I love her to pieces--yes! she is spoiled.
