What a great story and excerpt! Can't wait to read it. I, too, have great memories of growing up in a small town and spending summers at my grandmothers - a strong women that raised my father alone. She took care of most of the tiny villages residents and I went along with her. Her strength and determination has always been an inspiration. I can really relate to your story. Best of luck to you!
