Cookies are my absolute favorite sweet! I love so many different kinds, but will always favor any with nuts and chocolate chips.

Every Valentine's Day, my husband and I purchase roses from our local Volunteer Firemen (their big annual fund raiser) and then distribute the roses to a few elderly widows that we know. The ladies love it and we have so much fun!
