Re: The Prosecutor (8:38am March 5, 2014):

Thank you, Rhonda!

Hi, Carletta. I do try to make each character (whether male
or female)strong. I tend to like damaged people :) so I give
them a lot to deal with and then they have to fight their
way through it.

Thank you, Brandi! I hope you enjoy it. I had a ton of fun
writing it. :)

Hi, Linda. I love the name Gabe! The hero in my Justifiable
Cause series is also a Gabe. There's something really
masculine about it.

Thanks for stopping by, ladies!

Re: The Prosecutor (3:21pm March 4, 2014):

Thanks for coming by Brooke and for all the support this
week! I hope you like the book.:)

Re: The Prosecutor (12:09pm March 4, 2014):

Hi, Peggy. I am a HUGE Reacher fan! Love him. My favorite
scene is when he gets mad because he told the two guys he'd
fight them if they brought 12 guys back with them and he got
insulted when they only brought half that. Loved it!

I hope you enjoy The Prosecutor! Thanks so much.

Re: The Prosecutor (9:08am March 4, 2014):

Thank you, Delene! Penny is on the way. The Defender will be
out in June.

Thanks for hanging out with me on my blog stops! You are
awesome!

Re: Opposing Forces (10:00pm June 14, 2013):

Hi, BJ. Isn't that funny when that happens? I had that
happen with an old friend once and I couldn't believe how
much things had changed in such a short period of time.

Thanks, Kelsey! Glad you liked it.

Cheryl, I'll have to check that one out. I haven't read it
yet, but have heard great things. I love when I can add a
book to my TBR pile.

Re: Opposing Forces (3:02pm June 14, 2013):

Hi, Kathy. Thank you for the great compliment! It's very hard
to surprise my mom. She actually doesn't like them, but I
think my sister-in-law was forgiven this time. :)

Re: Opposing Forces (1:56pm June 14, 2013):

Hi, Wasanaa. Thanks for coming by.

Colleen, I'm glad you enjoyed the excerpt.

Thanks for popping in to say hi.

Re: Opposing Forces (10:48am June 14, 2013):

Hi, Amy. I liked Mr. & Mrs. Smith also. That was a fun movie.
I'm excited for Kelsey's book also! She's so fun.

Thanks for following my blogs all week!

Re: Opposing Forces (10:01am June 14, 2013):

Thank you, Denise and Hyunjin!

Clare, I love that story! I think the universe was
definitely sending you a message that you'd met the guy for
you. That's terrific.

Dianne and Jamie, I'd forgotten about Persuasion. I haven't
read that book in a long time. I think I'll treat myself to
it this weekend. :)

Hi, Peggy. Sorry about that. I wish I had a print copy for
you. You can download e-books to your computer though. :)
Thank you for the wonderful compliment. I get teary every
time I look at that picture of my mom. I'll cherish it
forever.

Hi, Mary. Yes, I agree, I much prefer the getting back
together to the breaking up. That's what I love about
romances. You're guaranteed that happy ending.

Thank you all for stopping in!

Re: Relentless Pursuit (8:46am August 21, 2012):

Thanks to Fresh Fiction for having me here. This is always one
of my favorite blogs to visit. The readers here rock!

Happy reading everyone!

Re: Relentless Pursuit (8:45am August 21, 2012):

Hi, Chelsea, I haven't read those titles, so I'll add them
to my list. Such a fantastic list I've got going today!

Hi, Theresa. He is trouble! But he has a really sweet side
too. :)

Peggy, you're a good soul for dog sitting. My Wheatie would
have major issues with another dog in his space. LOL. He's
cute and a total love bug but we call him the terrorist for
a reason! Thanks for stopping in!

Krissy, Debby, Jane and Wilma, thank you. I'm glad you
enjoyed the excerpt.

Thanks, Sheila!

Hi, Jan. Billy was a bit of a departure for me. The male
characters in my books are typically alpha males. Billy is
definitely an alpha, but he's a silly alpha. :)

Linda, I think Lula is a terrific secondary character. She's
great for comic relief!

Thank you, Connie! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Re: Relentless Pursuit (4:12pm August 20, 2012):

Hi, Clare. Another great suggestion! Love LInda Fairstein's
books.

Shelly, The Rachel Vincent books sound terrific. Another new
read for me. :)

Thanks for stopping in, ladies!

Re: Relentless Pursuit (2:36pm August 20, 2012):

Thank you, Anna. He's one of those characters who is fun to
write because he just says what's on his mind. He gets in
trouble a lot! LOL.

Hi, Lisa. Yeah, Billy isn't the silent type. He'd probably
like to be, but he can't help himself. :)

Hi, Colleen. Yes, Eve and Roarke are awesome characters.
Love them!

Thanks, Nancy. There's an excerpt from the beginning of the
book on my website (www.adriennegiordano.com). Thank you for
popping in!

Re: Relentless Pursuit (12:19pm August 20, 2012):

Hi, Angie. I have to admit, I have not read Fifty Shades
yet. I'll get to it though! Thanks for stopping in.

Rebecca, thank you! I'm glad you enjoy "my guys". I do have
a ton of fun figuring out how to annoy them. :)

Hi, Michel. So now I know that Vic is your favorite! I
should have known when you wanted him to drive a Gremlin. :)
I haven't read some of the books on your list, but I'll
definitely check them out. The Catherine Mann series sounds
like it would be right up my alley.

Thank you, Mindy. Billy was probably the most challenging
character for me so far because he has such a silly side to
him, but he can also be intense. I had to figure out a way
to balance the two.

Thank you, Melanie. I hope you enjoy it!

Pam, yes, Buffy! What a fantastic character.

Hi, Laura. Now you've got me wondering about Daemon. I'll be
adding that one to my TBR pile.

Re: Relentless Pursuit (9:42am August 20, 2012):

Good morning, all. I always love visiting Fresh Fiction and
chatting with the awesome readers here. You guys rock! I'm
taking note of all these favorite characters so I can check
them out myself. Some of them I've read, but some are new to
me and that's always fun.

Kai, thank you. I'm glad you liked the excerpt.

Hi, Chelsea. You have an awesome list here. I haven't read
some of them and will have to do some downloading!

Kathleen, if you like a man that makes a girl insane, Billy
is the guy for you! He drives Kristen crazy most of the
time, but he also makes her laugh and she loves that about
him.

Thank you, Felicia. I had a lot of fun with Billy and
Kristen. :)

Debby, sometimes I think my cover artist climbs into my head
when he finds the photos for the cover models. The guy on
the cover of A Just Deception freaks me out because he is
EXACTLY what I picture in my head.

Nancy, I'm a big Stephanie Plum fan myself. I'll take
Morelli any day! LOL.

Darci, I haven't read Jennifer Estep, so I'll check her out.

Maria, I'll have to check out Blayne Thorpe. I can't resist
a character who never quits!

Thank you, Nancy. I appreciate the well wishes.

Hi, Shari. Thanks for stopping to say hi.

Re: Risking Trust (9:08pm January 12, 2012):

Susan, I love that feeling when I'm caught up in a story I forget about everything else. Such fun!

Hi Sandy. I completely agree. My son is hooked on The Hunger Games trilogy and I love to watch him just sit and read.

Thanks for stopping by, ladies!

Re: Risking Trust (2:05pm January 12, 2012):

Thanks, Desiree!

Re: Risking Trust (1:00pm January 12, 2012):

Hi, Sandra. I always have a book handy myself. I throw my ereader into my purse and off we go. Thanks for stopping by.

Pam, Sorcery & Cecilia is a wonderful title. I'm off to check it out. Thanks!

Re: Risking Trust (10:31am January 12, 2012):

Hi Lisa. I love Jayne Ann Krentz! I really enjoy her Amanda Quick books also. Thanks for stopping in.

Tammy, thanks for the suggestion. I'll add Shattered to my TBR pile. I have Karen's books on my shelf, but haven't read Shattered yet.

Sheila and Jan, thanks for popping by. I enjoy a good Nicholas Sparks book as well. So many great authors mentioned!

Hi Sigrun. I love reading a historical that sucks me into all the details. The internet makes it so easy to check out things that are mentioned in the book. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll add it to the list!

Ashley, a good sequel can't be beat, can it? That's why I love reading books in a series. We get to revisit the characters.

Marjorie, Alexis and Linda, thanks for saying hello. I hope you all get in the zone soon! :)

Re: Risking Trust (10:50pm January 11, 2012):

Hi, Diane. Thanks for your interest in my book. Michael and Roxann have a special place in my heart. :)

Thanks for the suggestion, Linda. I love the title. I will put it on my list.

Felicia, I know exactly what you mean by the characters being part of your family. I always hate when a book I love comes to an end. I never want to say goodbye to the characters.

Beverly, I hope we can bring you some excitement! :)

Hi, Linda. Oh, the Jaycee DuGard book. I haven't read it, but I would imagine it's a book that stays with you for a while. And no worries if you don't have an e-reader, if you win, I can send you a PDF you can read on your computer.

Marilyn, don't worry about those resolutions. Who needs 'em anyway? :)

Jennifer, I just might be the only person left who hasn't read The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. It's in my pile to read though!

Savannah, I love that feeling of not wanting to put a book down. As a reader, I don't know that there is anything better. I think it's the greatest complement a writer can receive.

Hi, Ann. Thanks for stopping in.

Mary, I love Kristen Hannah's books. I haven't read Night Road yet though so I will be adding it to the list.

Wow, such a great list I'm compiling! Thank you all.

Re: Risking Trust (2:39pm January 11, 2012):

Hi Dawn. I have a confession to make. When I was trying to finish the Lisa Gardner book I mentioned I went and hid in the garage so I couldn't hear the phone, the television, the dog or the people in my house. I was close to the end and everything was going crazy so I hid! A girl has to do what a girl has to do.

Hi Colleen. I'll check out Dreaming of The Wolf. I love discovering new books!

Thanks for posting, ladies!

Re: Risking Trust (11:48am January 11, 2012):

Hi Anne. No worries on the typo. I knew what you meant. :) I read Lisa Gardner's Live To Tell over the holidays and that one put me in the zone. If you're a parent, I'll warn you ahead of time, the subject matter is not easy reading, but (as usual with Lisa Gardner) the writing is fantastic.

Thanks for posting!

Re: Risking Trust (8:24am November 9, 2011):

Hi, Lisa. So true. I'd hate living with a perfect person. LOL.

Thank you, Sheila. I have fun with my guys!

Nas, thank you for popping by!

Mary and Sandra, well said. I completely agree.

Thanks for commenting everyone!

Re: Risking Trust (9:50pm November 8, 2011):

Hi, Mary. I so agree with you. Thanks for commenting.

Re: Risking Trust (9:03pm November 8, 2011):

Hi Patti. I like it! LOL. Thanks for commenting.

Re: Risking Trust (7:56pm November 8, 2011):

Hi Linda. You're right. No one is perfect. I slept with my blanket until I was 7. My mother actually still has a tiny piece of it stashed away somewhere.:) Glad you enjoyed the excerpt. I have excerpts from all the books on my website at www.AdrienneGiordano.com. I also have some character interviews out there and photos of the characters.

Hi Maureen. Thanks for stopping in!

Re: Risking Trust (5:58pm November 8, 2011):

Hi, Cecilia. Thanks for commenting!

Re: Risking Trust (5:29pm November 8, 2011):

Hi everyone. Sorry I'm so late checking in! I have to agree with all of you. I think character flaws humanize characters. I love watching them struggle!

Peggy, sorry about your sister. I do try to tackle some family issues in my books because I think it's something everyone can relate to.

Nancy, I love that you're willing to try my books. Thank you!

If you all are romantic suspense fans you might want to check out JustRomanticSuspense.com. One of my Carina author pals started the website because she wanted to find a new romantic suspense author and decided it would be nice to have a central database. The site is a listing of romantic suspense authors and their websites. One stop-shopping! Everything from debut authors to bestsellers. It's a wonderful resource and the list of authors is growing daily.

Thank you all for commenting. I so love Fresh Fiction! Always a wonderful bunch here.
