I follow fave writers but often pick up books off the New Book section at the library. Sometimes I pick because I recognize the author, but usually there will be titles that jump out at me.

Totally agree, Bridges of Madison county was an extreme disappointment for me. I was even raised in Iowa. For some reason that escaped me, it struck a chord with so many.
